The Mother of all Vacuum Insulated Water Bottles! Holds ice and water for a full 24 hours!
I ADORE this little water bottle. I'm an adult and I bought it for travel overseas. I like ice cold water and have a hard time getting ice water when I travel internationally. This thing is a champ. I would fill my bottle with ice in the morning, add water and it would remain cold with the ice intact all day long even with me adding tap water during the day. After 24 hrs, the ice would melt. No leaks for me. I was careful to check my seal after closing it each time because I heard that was a problem for others. Clean up is a breeze - just add a little soap and hot water, shake for a minute and then rinse. At home, I stick it in the top rack of my dishwasher. The only negative I can find is that it's metal so it'll dent if enough pressure is applied. Mine arrived with a dent in the side. I didn't have time to return it before my trip so I just went with it. It didn't affect its performance.Since returning home, I got the Sport Cap and love it. For travel, I prefer the regular cap. I can shove it in a bag and not worry about the tip touching anything and becoming unsanitary. For around the house and in my own city, I prefer the Sport Cap because it's so easy to use. I don't have to recap the entire bottle each time.Gratuitous Information: I live in a home full of runners, and we have dozens and dozens of water bottles - all different styles, sizes and types. I dislike them all. Many are made of plastic and absorb odors over time. They also tint if you put in colored beverages - sports drinks, gatorade, etc. I love the stainless steel. It doesn't absorb odors, doesn't stain and cleans up very well. None can hold a cold beverage the length of time this one does. I never thought I'd be a reusable water bottle convert, but I am! I'm finally adding my own water bottle to the pile. I just hope nobody steals it!

Much better than the uninsulated version
We bought a used keen canteen uninsulated 12oz bottle for our now 5 year old a few years ago. They last. They are truly 18/10 (why would you drink our of anything but?). But, the uninsulated version would sweat on the exterior on summer days when we put ice and water inside. The sweat would fill up cup holder sinter car, etc. So, we decided to "upgrade" to the uninsulated version. No more sweating! And, it keeps ice for about 24 hours. Nice touch. For the price, I would recommend this name brand product over knockoffs or no-name stainless drinking water bottles. This review is current as of 11-28-23 and I will update this rating should anything change.

Perfect travel water bottle
I have the standard Klean Kanteen with a sports cap but am much happier now that I have this smaller one. I find the size more travel friendly, and the loop cap did not spill even when I had the KK in my bag on its side (by accident). It doesn't sweat when you pour cold water in, which is also good for travel. I wish I knew about this version earlier! I'll probably never use my older KK again!

Durable and keeps the water cold
My ONLY complaint is kids have a hard time unscrewing the lid. My five year old always needed someone else to unscrew it. HOWEVER, because of this i bought the sports cap after the fact and now I'm quite happy it screws on so tight because there's zero fear of leaks and she can now drink from it just fine without assistance. I can put ice in it in the evening and still have the water nice and cold for my daughter the next day in her lunch, which is a must because she is annoyingly picky about her water temperature. Yeah, like all metal water bottles it will get some dings, but that's to be expected and adds to the charm in my opinion :) neither my daughter or me or huge fans of pink, but this is a very bright vibrant "dragon fruit" pink that is very fun and pretty in person.

Really holds the cold!
Works better than I ever expected. Once I used this bottle, I immediately bought another, and recommend it to everyone who will listen.I have a couple of uninsulated bottle from Klean Kanteen that I wrap in foam. They still sweat and do not hold ice more than a few hours, so I figured I'd try one of these.I have not used it for hot liquids, only ice water. I fill them with ice cubes and water. I always drink all of the water long before the ice has melted. If left overnight, there is always lots of ice in the morning. I have been out all day in the sun on my motorcycle or walking, still lots of ice after I've drunk the water.Great on the beach. Keeps water ice cold, does not sweat, so sand does not stick to it.The only thing to keep in mind is the capacity is less given the same outside size than with the uninsulated versions.

I like the stainless steel as opposed to the painted canteens ...
Heavy duty, keeps drinks cold, durable and can withstand falls and banging around by kids. I like the stainless steel as opposed to the painted canteens as the paint tends to chip off of the painted ones. I wish this came with the sports cap and not the screw off cap. I did buy the Sport cap and my son loves it. I have labelled this canteen with a plastic name label to keep track of this at school. I have also given a larger version of these as gifts with personalized cricut labels for teachers and exercise instructors, which were very appreciated!

Light & Always Visible
Previously we purchased the 20 oz Klean Kanteen size to have water on hand at our vineyard farm. Those are great but when we perform work in the vineyard and travel up and down the 800ft rows the larger 20oz size is a bit bulky and heavy to fit in our vest pockets. The 12 oz fits the bill and conveniently fits in a pocket on the lower back. Since we do a lot of contortions and bending down while working on the grapevines if the water bottle falls out it's easy to find based on the bright magenta color. In addition the sippy tops we previously had for the 20oz size do fit onto the 12oz size. Really do like the Klean Kanteen products.

It is the quality I have come to expect with Kleen Kanteen, and the size that made sense.....
I prefer a smaller insulated bottle, this is for ME, an adult, NIT a child, and I am grateful that they are sold by the company, and was happy with getting it soon after I ordered it.
