Amazing limited ingredient food
My dog has aggressive food allergies. This is one of only a few dogs that are high quality, not too high on fat and just high enough in protein. She loves it and eats it readily. Some limited ingredient diets will still give her a rash and they boast no added ingredients. This food has MULTIPLE protein sources and she doesn't get itchy at all NO ADDED INGREDIENTS! I'm A vet tech and I'm taking you this is a great option for limited ingredient diets. Just remember to supplement taurine so your pup doesn't get a heart murmur from grain free diets 😜

Switched to the Red Meat Formula when the Bison (7 ingredient) formula was changed
This food seems to be agreeable with both of my Labs. We previously used the Bison Formula (7 ingredients), but had to look for another food when Canidae changed the Bison Formula to 10 ingredients to control costs. We did not like some of the ingredients in the new blend of the Bison Formula, and tried several other brands of food that were carried locally before ordering this one. A lot of other brands seem to include fish meal or fish oil in their limited ingredient formulas, and that may have been part of why the ones we tried did not work for my dogs. My dogs seem to like this one and are doing well on it, so we hope that Canidae does not change the formula for the Red Meat Formula food from its current 8 ingredient blend.

Flavor is not that noticeable in the food though.

Cured my dog's tummy issues (HGE)
My dog was experiencing HGE (hemoragic gastrointenteritis aka severe vomiting/diarrhea) on and off for 4 months. Doctors ran tests, nothing came back, no explanation for the symptoms. We decided it must be dietary and proceeded to try 3 different foods over 4 months before finding this one and all of them were marketed for "sensitive digestive systems." This is the only food that actually cured the symptoms and we haven't had ANY episodes since! This may just be me, but I also think that their fur, weight, and energy have improved since we began feeding them this food.

My Akita can't eat this blend because she poops blood if she does!
This particular blend makes my dogs intestines' bleed.

Great food
Great Food , no damage, no mold, dogs love 💓 I wish I could get more for the price but,.. when your dog has food allergies ya gotta do what ya gotta do cause it's worth it 😉
