Purchased this item for use at a summer camp where we were feeding 180 kids + counselors every weekday. The temporary clamp on feature was a particular selling point since we have to remove our equipment from the kitchen at the end of the summer. It took me about 30 seconds to attach the opener to the counter top and there it has stayed (without issue) all summer. The opener is heavy duty and has easily opened everything we have thrown at it (e.g., large cans of corn, spaghetti sauce, etc.). The stainless steel plate allows the cans to turn with little drag and it makes quick work of the task. So, I highly recommend this can opener, especially given that we were able to purchase it at a price that was about half of some of the other comparable openers.

We needed to open those big #10 cans for our daycare. After breaking countless small can openers, we decided to splurge and by a big one. This was a great $value. Much cheaper than any local restraint supply store. Even with shipping it was still a better bargain. Thanks again.
