Laptop stand with solid value, solid base with solid cooling performance.
The stand is heavy metal, so it won't tip , and it's tight so it won't change position during computer use. Care should be taken to fit the lower edge of the laptop to the two brackets at the lower edge of the stand. My 15.6 HP has an angled bottom edge that can slip. Plugged into my laptop for power, the stand reduced the heat coming from the laptop's own cooling areas. With an after-market 20W plug, it would have an even stronger effect. It is easy to set up and attach the cooling device. No tools needed, but some are provided if the hinges are too tight. They were not for me and I like the reassurance of the tightness and the weight of the base. The cooling is quiet. I can hear my laptop fan, not the METFUT fan. For the price on Amazon, this stand is more solid and stronger than I expected.

VERY EFFECTIVE COOLING with 20W
This cooling stand is incredible. It definitely cools the machine. It dropped the temp on my Omen from 220F to 174F. In contrast, a regular fan unit didn't do much at all. You will want to use a 20W charger as the 5W only lowered the temp 10-15 degrees. The product is also pretty quiet. Since most of the cooling is the chiller, it doesn't need massive fans. The product is well-made and easy to use. It is heavy and a little chunky so don't plan on throwing it in your bag for portability.

It's a good stand but an OK laptop cooler.
This is an overall OK product. I had high hopes for the semiconductor cooler. The disappointing part was that the fans don't run fast enough for it to be an effective cooler. It keeps laptop from not being too hot but it won't feel cool to the touch. I hav't done any measurement with tools but as an average user, I am going by the feel based on my use. When I use it, the stand is firm. There is no give on the position I sat to while using and resting my hands on the laptop for more than 10 hours long days. The noise is not that distracting, especially since I use headphones, but even when I am not, I still don't get bothered by it. Overall, I would say I wish this was a better cooler with a more powerful fan because I love everything else about this stand.

Review: Laptop Cooling Stand with Detachable Thermoelectric Cooler
I recently picked up this Laptop Cooling Stand with a Detachable Thermoelectric Cooler, and it has exceeded my expectations in most areas. If you're looking for a sturdy, effective, and versatile cooling solution for your laptop, this one is worth considering. Pros: ✅ Excellent Cooling Performance: The thermoelectric cooler is a game-changer. Unlike traditional fan-based cooling pads, this actually actively lowers temperatures rather than just improving airflow. My laptop runs noticeably cooler, even under heavy loads. ✅ Adjustable Height & Angle: Whether you prefer working at a desk or lounging on the couch, the adjustable stand provides multiple angles that improve ergonomics and reduce neck strain. ✅ 360° Rotation Base: A simple but useful feature—being able to rotate my laptop easily without moving the entire stand is a nice touch, especially for collaborative work. ✅ Sturdy Carbon Steel Build: This thing feels rock solid. No wobbling, no cheap plastic parts—just a well-built stand that can handle up to 16-inch laptops with ease. ✅ Ultra-Quiet Operation: The cooling system runs almost silently, which is perfect for quiet work environments or late-night gaming sessions. Cons: ⚠️ Power Source Required: Since it uses a thermoelectric cooling system, it needs to be plugged in to function. Not a big deal if you're at a desk, but it does limit portability. ⚠️ Not the Lightest Option: Due to its carbon steel construction, it’s a bit heavier than some other cooling stands. Again, great for durability, but not ideal if you move around a lot. ⚠️ Price: It's a bit pricier than basic cooling pads, but considering the advanced cooling tech and build quality, it's a fair trade-off. Final Verdict: If you need a high-quality cooling solution that offers superior heat dissipation, ergonomic flexibility, and a premium build, this is a fantastic choice. While it may not be the most portable or budget-friendly option, it delivers where it matters most—keeping your laptop cool and comfortable to use. Highly recommended for gamers, professionals, and power users! 💻❄️

Keeps My Laptop Chill, Not My Beer
Title: “Finally, My Laptop Stopped Screaming” Review: I picked up the METFUT Laptop Cooling Stand because my poor laptop was basically trying to take off like a jet engine every time I opened 20 Chrome tabs. This stand delivered exactly what I hoped: solid cooling, adjustable angles, and a stable platform that doesn’t feel like it will collapse under pressure. The fans move plenty of air, keeping my laptop temps in check even during heavy gaming or editing. The removable fan module is a nice bonus — easy to reposition and clean. And the stand is sturdy enough to hold a heavy 16-inch laptop without flinching. Now, let’s be clear — it doesn’t solve global warming, and it absolutely will not chill your beer while you rage-quit Warzone. But as a laptop cooler, it does its job perfectly. Pros: ✔️ Effective airflow, keeps temps reasonable ✔️ Sturdy, stable build ✔️ Adjustable angles for ergonomic typing ✔️ Removable fan module is handy Cons: ➖ Still can’t reverse climate change ➖ Won’t keep your drinks cold Bottom line: If you want a solid laptop stand with real cooling performance — and can accept that your beer is on its own — this METFUT stand is a no-brainer. Highly recommended.

The Perfect Combination with Thermal-Modded Laptops (i.e. MacBooks)
My Intel MacBook Pro 16" is thermal-modded, and the performance boost is incredible—it runs so much faster! However, the bottom base gets quite hot even on a normal workload. This laptop fan with the Thermal Semiconductor is such an excellent combination—super quiet and cools the base almost instantly. The MacBook now runs at full performance with near zero throttling, even during heavy use. The product is well-built and feels premium. I’m genuinely impressed with both the design and overall quality. Thank you—highly recommended!

Best laptop cooling stand on the market, and as sturdy as an Ergotron arm!
This is by far the best cooling laptop stand I've ever purchased, and I've gone through several. None have been close to this kind of quality. Most laptop cooler/stands that you can find on the market are plastic, flimsy, and cheap. None I've seen have had an actual semiconductor cooler in addition to cooling airflow from fans. I use a Wacom Mobile Studio Pro for my work as an illustrator, which is a hefty and powerful device that can heat up quite a lot when working on large Photoshop files or in Blender, so finding something this sturdy with cooling is fantastic. I love that the cooler is detachable, making it an easy item to fold down, pack up, and take with me in my laptop backpack. It attaches to the stand with a slight give from the springs on its four pegs which push it right against the back of my device. Careful though, as the cooler is not securely attached to the stand when your laptop is not weighing it down. The fan is so quiet. I LOVE the 20w power capability from a wall plug in addition to the 5w power capability you can get from plugging it into your laptop. I like to take my mobile studio with me multiple times a week to different locations to help with focus, so having a reliable stand as sturdy and trustworthy --as my home office Ergotron arm no less -- is a welcome surprise I didn't expect to find on the market! --- Feedback: I only have a few small notes to improve this design. One, the cooler doesn't not fit well into the top most screws on my stand due to the large rubber pads that are just slightly too close. A millimeter further away would fix the problem. Two, an easy way to secure the cooler into place and attach the stand to the cooler would be really nice. I love how easy it is to move and how it sits in there just right, but if I go to pick up my stand it'd be great if I knew I could securely move it in one piece if needed. I understand the stand can't fold down all the way while the cooler is attached, so I get why this wasn't done, but I still think it would be beneficial with a warning not to fold it down while its in place. Three, get better branding! If you're going to stick with the brand name MetFut which sounds goofy in English, you need a really cool logo to make up for it. :) A product as good as this deserves it.

Makes laptop *hotter*!
The unboxing videos were nice, but they ignore the key issue: does it cool your laptop? I did an experiment, running my laptop for at least 5 minutes in each case, and waiting a few minutes between each treatment to allow it to stabilize: Idle: 48.0 deg C Working (4 cores at 100%), no external cooling: 64.8 deg C Working (4 cores at 100%), $15 laptop fan: 67.2 deg C Working (4 cores at 100%), "METFUT" cooling stand: 77.6 deg C (I converted the temperatures to deg F in the image.) It sucks! It's actually *worse* than using nothing at all! My guess is because the device's fans are blocking the laptop's intakes. These fans are supposed to spin at 2400 rpm, which sounds like a lot, but I could barely feel them. In fact, I had to hold them up to my face to feel anything. Supposedly, the cooling comes from the thermoelectric device, which indeed becomes immediately cool. But to work, it either needs to be in contact with the hot parts, or it needs to cool air before it's blown in. The fans, as I said, are impotent. Contact with the laptop bottom doesn't work because the laptop is built with plastic, which has horrible thermal conductivity. So it's a neat parlor trick, but you could get two fan-only devices for the price of this and at least believe something is happening. I was using the plug-in mode (not the less powerful USB mode), so it was getting maximum power. For all of you making review videos, please evaluate products for the problem they are supposed solve. Anything else is a gimmick.
