I bought this trimmer to replace a cheap one I bought years ago at Ross. My old trimmer ran on batteries, was loud, and it wasn’t really good at trimming my beard. This product is a major improvement in that there is no more need for batteries, it shaves extremely well, it is easy to clean, and is comfortable in your hand. It has one button that if pushed, turns on the trimmer and if pushed again, turns on a small light, which was neat. It looks to be very durable and well made. It did not come with a charging block and the cord is rather short, but that is not a deal breaker as everyone has blocks sitting around their house. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a new shaver!

First time user of a manscape type device or any type of powered device to cut hair, so once I got over my initial fear of doing some serious damage to critical body parts, it was surprisingly easy to use. I used it first for a mustache trim which was done without any of the 3 combs that come with the manscape. So it was just the cutting blade close to the top lip using a steady hand. Then the real test was the "down there" trim using the longest comb which was easy to do and did not result in any serious injury.Overall the manscape has a good build feel to it, with a somewhat "rubbery" feel so that it feels like it will not slip out of your hand even if your hand is moist or wet. It can be used in the shower as it is IPX6 rated. It has a led light but it's not very bright at all so it's of limited usefulness. There was no tugging or pulling so far as the cutting blade is new. It's quiet and it does vibrate in your hand but I did not find it bothersome.Please see the two pics for the "unboxing".A few things to note:1) No USB charger is included. A very short USB-C cable is included, but the USB power adapter that plugs into the AC outlet is NOT included. It can be plugged directly into a USB port to charge.2) The instructions state to replace the cutting blades every 3 months.3) It is made in China. Instructions are readable and in fairly good English for the most part.4) The product website that is listed in the instructions has very little useful info, and this website only has information on the manscape and no other products or even company info. For example, there is no way to order replacement blades. Perhaps you need to contact their customer support directly?A good first time use for the manscape. Yet to be determined is how well the blade performs over time and the ease and expense in purchasing and replacing the cutting blade.
