Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Ultimate Guide (Percy Jackson & the Olympians)

Since buying this book, my two boys (age 9 and 11) are devouring the entire publication list of Rick Riordan, including companion books such as this. They are simultaneously reading his books on Greek, Norse and Egyptian mythology. It's all they want to read now but I don't mind as the books are both entertaining and very educational. These boys really know mythology and a fair bit about Greek history and civilization. They got interested in these books after reading a children's version of Homer's Iliad and the Odyssey.

I've gotten back into my Percy Jackson phase so I was excited to get a hold of this. It still matches well with the story, came with all the cards, and the book itself was in great condition. I do wish they would make an updated version (with Viria's official character art), but the old art is fun to look at.

This book possibly has the best packaging ever. It is a sturdy hard cover with holographic images on the front that change, so cool. Also held together with magnets. The illustrations inside are so nice too. I will be keeping on my bookshelf and would recommend to everyone

My granddaughter loves all things PJ and this book highlights each character biographically. The hardbound book is beautifully illustrated and detailed plus sooo informative. Thank you!

I got this guidebook for a 10 year old who loves Percy Jackson books. I thought this would complement them nicely. The book is attractive in its format- special clasp and bookmarks- and my little friend gasped when he saw it and just started to devour it! He loved it and found a lot of information in it. So glad I got this for his birthday!

But as a gift, receiver loved it.

My daughter (age 8) is thrilled with this book. Percy Jackson has gotten her into the Olympians, and this is a perfect reference guide that links the Riordan books to the ancient mythology it references. It comes with a set of baseball-like cards that she loves as a quick reference. The price and the value make it well worth it for Percy Jackson readers, and it doesn’t have spoilers for later books, so far as we can tell. (She’s on book 4.). My nephew (age 10) is reading the first book in the series, and I’m going to gift him a copy as well. He has to write a book report about it, and it’s an excellent consolidation of information as well as its providing background information that a student might not already have.

Bought this as a gift for my nephew. He absolutely loves it!
