Wow! Exceeded my expectations in every way.. Love it!
Been buying cell phones since the beginning all the way back to when they were called car phones, lol (shows my age) Once they went to texting and smart phones I have always bought budget model phones Samsung, Moto, etc.. I never really used them for more than texting and phone calls. Then came 2FA and apps for everything. I have always liked Samsung phones, I was ready for a new device and this time I decided to look at the top tier devices during the sales. NEVER APPLE or ONE PLUS so would be Pixel 10 Pro or S25 Ultra. Bought both... Usually I spent $150 -$200 and they get the job done so I was sceptical on spending $1K on a phone. The Pixel was ok, though not worth it over what I already had. Then the Samsung S25 Ultra arrived (with a free bundled set or Pro 3 Ear Buds) and all I can say is Wow! This thing is built like a tank, super quality construction. Love the material, screen OLED is amazing, camera is outstanding and the audio synced with the Pro 3 Buds is unreal. Put Spotify on and I hear thing in songs I have never heard before, the clarity and frequency response is like nothing I have ever heard before. I love Samsung because you can customize almost everything about this phone, they don't load it with bloat, and they make it easy to disable features if you don't want them, unlike some other brands. I run mine pretty lean without a lot of background stuff going and the battery charge lasts longer than any other phone I have had. I did not expect that at all. And it charges fast. Has every function I could possibly need and more is I want it. The feel is pure quality, has the durable OLED glass for protection. This thing has exceeded my expectations in every way and if you can get one, it is well worth it. IMO

Great phone, but some feedback for future iterations
Phone is a beast that hasn't flinched at anything I threw at it. Cameras have been great. Software is best in class, s pen is handy for quick notes. I do have some feedback for samsung though, some of these are nitpicks but I do wanna bring those up. - Camera is great for my usage but it would be great if the array of cameras was in a horizontal visor akin to the pixel -OIS on the space zoom camera. Sometimes I use my phone like binoculars when hiking and wanna snap a quick pic. Also maybe copy some ideas from apple like the camera button, the magnetic sensor shift stabilization, and square sensor. - More ram would be appreciated, 12gb is no slouch and I have no doubts it won't be a painpoint but competitors like google have it albeit with a much weaker chip. It's not that the phone isn't future proof, it's more that there could be more to be done. That being said the RAM shortage is surely gonna keep 12gb the standard for the foreseeable. future. -PLEASE KEEP THE SPEN. I don't care for bluetooth functionality but other people do. I just like it for quick notes and using it like a mouse. Honestly I wouldn't consider this phone if it didn't have it. -Silicon carbon battery? Now the battery has been able to last me a full day with the light performance profile, 1080p resolution, mostly on wifi, 6-9 hours of SoT depending what I'm doing. I do understand the US has some regulations on battery capacity and samsung might still have ptsd from the note 7, but companies like oneplus have it. Yes they do age faster then conventional batteries but even so, an aged silicon carbon battery can still have better battery than a conventional lithium ion. -I don't really play games on my phone, mostly use my steamdeck for that but I'm just gonna throw this out there... a sprititual successor to the xperia play would make me so happy. -Samsung I love oneui but please stop making duplicate apps for everything. It's a minor annoyance since you can uninstall/hide everything but come on don't be annoying. -speech to type is better on the pixel from what I've read online -maybe support the aptx adaptive and aptx hd bluetooth codecs -Bring gemini to android auto. Now I'm not a big ai user I turn off most everything except gemini and circle to search, I think it's obnoxiously implemented but google assistant is just plain stupid when using android auto. Also while on the topic of gemini, I want to be able to tell gemini "play *song* by *artist* and it not be limited to youtube music and spotify. I wanna use other services like deezer or my locally downloaded music. -front facing speakers. I appreciate the stereospeakers but how cool would it be if we had both speakers front facing? -finally please implement a "hold for me" and call tree like pixels do. I know it sounds like I'm just envying pixel software feature but that would seriously be game over. Phone trees seems to be brain numbing nowadays and hold music is a form of torture.

Excellent phone and worth the upgrade
The S25 Ultra is a very nice upgrade, especially from my old S9 Plus, better cameras, connectivity and a much faster operating system. I thought I would miss the option of having a micro SD slot however the 256GB is actually plenty, I'm storing over several thousand images and 4K videos and still only 1/3 full. The phone dimensions are similar to most flagship models on the market but the S25 is noticeably heavy and still tough to carry in your pants pocket, can be difficult to remove depending on what your wearing and if your sitting. The phone feels stronger however I use a case to protect it, makes is easier to hold and protects it from drops. I don't use screen protectors and so far after several months of daily carrying in pockets, taking to the beach and covered in sand, and carrying around the yard while working, I still haven't noticed any scratches on the screen or camera lenses. The new AI features are helpful and can be fun, Samsung has their own AI apps and so far the drawing assist is my favorite, some of the apps work best with a pen and the one included with the phone is actually very good. I didn't think I'd ever use it and was planning to hold on buying a new phone until the next model arrives, if they offered an Ultra without a pen, but I'm glad I got this one. It's also great if your hands are dirty and you don't want to touch the screen, it doesn't have any remote options for taking pictures but still works very well for most tasks. The cameras are amazing, vibrant images and taking pictures at night actually works. It does a good job of not overexposing lights in the background and clearly capturing the subject in front. The AI clears up a lot of the ghosting effect you get when the subject moves and the phone is set to a long exposure time. I'm glad I'm finally able to capture family moments when there's insufficient lighting, missed a lot of good opportunities with the last phone. So far the phone has been perfect and I'm glad I finally upgraded.

Beautiful, Super Functional Phone! One of Samsung's Best.
I didn't buy this for myself. My Hubby wanted this particular phone when we switched from one of the "Big Three" phone companies to a smaller, cheaper service. We bought it unlocked for a GSM service, usable and compatible with our new phone plan. I've only gotten to hold this thing a couple of times, but I have a lot to say about it! First, this phone is enormous! He upgraded from a Galaxy S21 FE 5G, which I thought was close in size, but somehow, the S25 feels much bigger. It's quite hefty in weight, too, which is perfect for the tremor he has in his left hand. Having a heavier object tends to squelch the shaking a bit. The display is crystal clear and brilliant. Movies and TV shows never looked so good on a handheld device as they do with this one. Games run super fast with no lag, and charging takes no time at all with a proper fast charging system. And now, the feature I've wanted in a phone for a long time...? The smart pen/stylus. Man, this thing is slick. I had to use it to capture my signature for an e-sign document. For once, my signature actually looked like I had signed it. Getting the file from his phone to my PC was pretty simple to do, as they connected via Bluetooth to do so. The stylus has a cozy little home tucked into its own space and won't come out (or it hasn't yet) by just dropping or knocking the phone against something. That thing is in there for the long haul until you want it out. This phone is everything I've come to expect from Samsung's Galaxy S series. A bit on the pricey side, but to him, it's worth every penny. He loves the Titanium Black color he purchased, as he fancies the darker colors with phones and just about everything else. At least he coordinates! The bright, AMOLED display is crystal clear with brilliant, vivid colors. It's such a neat phone, one like I've always wanted for myself, but could never quite afford. Spring for a new phone and get this beauty. You really won't be sorry.

Finally.. a phone I love...
This is my 4th Cell phone in 6 years- android only. This phone is a workhorse and the battery lasts forever. The size is a bit bigger than the others but I love that I can actually enlarge the screen and be able to read the tiny print that seems to be appearing more and more. The screen is easy to maneuver and it's crisp and clear. Camera has serious capabilities so take a look at some YouTube videos on how to use and what to use for seriously great photos and videos. Always use a screen protector as you never know what will scratch it putting it in your purse. Lastly, grab that larger storage amount as this phone does not take a SD card. Nobody likes to delete things due to storage limits. I'm extremely happy with this purchase!

Excellent little powerhouse
The Samsung S25 Ultra is an excellent phone from a hardware standpoint. The screen is beautiful, the speakers are loud and clear, and the camera takes great photos. Cell service and internet connectivity have been solid and reliable with no complaints. When I first purchased the phone, the battery life was outstanding—easily close to two full days and comparable to the iPhone 16 Pro Max. Unfortunately, after being forced to install software updates, that battery performance dropped noticeably. What was once amazing is now just decent, with the phone ending a full day around 16% battery, even though I limit charging to 85% to preserve long-term battery health. This feels more like a software optimization issue than a hardware problem, which is disappointing. Bixby and Samsung’s built-in ecosystem are underwhelming to me, but Google’s Assistant AI works very well, and if you don’t like either option, using ChatGPT is a solid alternative. The S Pen is a nice added bonus and genuinely useful at times. The phone itself feels durable, though I still recommend using a case for extra protection. I purchased a new phone and received a new phone and perfect condition. I also haven’t experienced any screen burn-in issues, even with the always-on display enabled. Overall, it’s a powerful and premium device with excellent features, but software updates and battery regression keep it from being a top-tier experience.

Great price & service.
Excellent phone/PDA. Big update from the Note 20, and great unlocked price on Amazon. I don't like 3-year lock-in contacts with providers.

Absolutely love this phone. Amazing camera with AI capability. Lots of storage space.
Amazing phone. I upgraded from the Samsung S10E so this was quite of a step up. It was very easy to set up. It gets great signal reception and has a top of the line camera with telephoto, wide screen and great zoom. Lots of storage. Be sure to get yourself a cell phone case and screen protector.
