I don’t think so, no. I didn’t have luck with it. Wasted my money. Sad.

Q: can these be planted in containers and kept inside during winter? zone 5 here

I have & they do fine - just give them lots of light- I’m in Texas & cover them in the winter

Q: Can I plant now in Spring?

Yes, Oxalis can be planted in the spring. I live in northern Wisconsin and I usually try to have them in the ground by May 15th. They are actually pretty hardy, but have to be dug up in the fall.
