I bought the Teyearlife 54mm bottomless portafilter for my Breville machine, hoping it would be a good fit. Unfortunately, it's not compatible. Here are the main issues:1. Improper Seal: The basket is slightly thinner than the original Breville one, which causes water to spray out from the sides.2. Pressure Issues: The basket’s larger bottom diameter results in a loss of pressure, making it hard to achieve optimal brewing. You also need to use more coffee grounds to compensate.3. Basket Shape: Unlike the Breville basket, this one doesn't taper down. This design increases coffee usage and prevents the machine from reaching proper pressure.While the build quality is good, and the wooden handle feels nice, this product doesn’t work well as a replacement for Breville machines.Note: The supplier was quick to respond and resolve the issue, which I really appreciated. Their customer service was excellent.

I went back and forth for the longest time on buying a bottomless portafilter...after all the one that comes with my Breville Machine got the job done and everyone knows money is tight. However, I was having issues with channeling and figured instead of buying another grinder, so why not try a cheaper option and start with a bottomless portafilter.This is a must buy and would be a fantastic Christmas gift for any espresso enthusiast in your life!! It has completely changed the taste of my espresso, I've been able to dial in exactly what is wrong so much easier than just pulling a shot and accepting whatever comes out. It's so nice being able to actually see everything going on and the top screen they provide has definitely helped with the channeling problems I was having.If you want to dial in your espresso and take it up just a notch I highly recommend buying this. The handle is solid and very nice build quality especially for only $30. The company routinely runs promotions and I will definitely be ordering more of their products.

Using it on my Breville and love it. I had to make some adjustments initially but after retuning it works like a charm.

I LOVE this bottomless portafilter! Pulls out a great espresso shot. It is absolutely solid wood & great quality, lightweight & the handle twists into the metal piece, which is great for cleaning the filter without constantly getting the wood wet.I wanted the aesthetics of the wooden handle, but I didn’t realize it actually had a giant logo burned onto the handle. I assumed it was a watermark, but what you see in the picture is actually what you get!SOLUTION: An easy fix is a light sanding with some light grit sandpaper, which is what I did & it’s perfect. Took me 5 minutes. You can’t see it at all since it wasn’t deeply stamped/burned into. I don’t think anyone really wants a giant black logo on a wooden handle…but I’m happy with sanding it off.Would love for this company to relocate their logo to a different spot if it’s necessary & make it smaller for future customers.Otherwise, it’s worth paying for! This is cheap compared to other wood portafilter handles that I have seen.
