Sturdy and Great Size
These are made out of a thick sturdy plastic which are great for my garden and seedlings. Easy to write on with a Sharpie. So much better than the typical white flimsy ones found at the store. Highly recommend!

Great value--price.
I used these to plan a garden--it allowed me to put tags in the ground to figure out spacing and color arrangement, relocating as needed. Very handy. I also used some to label some plants where just the stem is sticking out of the ground during the dormant season. I like that I can tuck them mostly into the ground to identify where the plants are without too much showing on top. I can tell they will be very useful and reusable in the future when it is time to plant.

Very durable
Most sturdy plant tags I've found in this form. Anyone saying permanent marker doesn't work well, it's just not true. EVERYTHING plastic with permanent marker will slowly fade in weather. Mine lasted the year. Even then, still readable, just faded. The only thing I didn't like about them was the inclusion of dark blue because you can't get a dark enough marker to be able to read it easily. In any case, I keep buying them because I like that they are not at all flimsy and hold up. Could even use alcohol to wipe off past writing and then reuse. They are plastic so they will EVENTUALLY become brittle. But I've used some for at least two seasons.

choose something with less colors
if your deciding what to get - get something that has less colors but more of those colors. because while i thought it would be a good idea to have lots of colors, i run out of the ones i want. and purple, you can't see the writing on. if it was lavender then maybe.if i were to do this again, i would get a 4 pack, but get like 50 of each color. so red can be just tomatoes, yellow just flowers etc.marker works on these, they have a very light texture, its not smooth like plant markers from the store. you can clean them if you use a sharpie, denatured alcohol gets it off and you can use it again. the markers are thick, and i don't see them breaking any time soon. i don't know what they do in the summer though, i may experiment with one.

A little too nice for my needs.
I previously.got some white ones fromanother vendor and decided on color this time as I was sending them to a friend, along with some seeds as a gift. But these ones are very sturdy and thick in comparison I had to cut down on the number I was sending her to keep within the weight limits of the package. So, I guess this is one occassion when being well made was a disadvantage! That said, I kept the spare ones and am excited to use them with my own seedlings. I have no complaints about this product, perhaps the blue and purple are too dark to see black pen on so you will also need a silver or white pen for those colors.

Highlights in the Vege Patch
Great little nursery style plastic labels. Easy to write on with permanent marker and plenty of room for labelling with name of the plant and the date your plant them. I love them.
