NARUTO Rise Of A Ninja is centred on the main character of the anime. 12 years ago, a fearsome 9-tailed demon fox attacked the village of Konoha. Now NARUTO has grown up to a hyperactive ninja-in-training whoâ€s more interested in pranks than schoolwork. However heâ€s determined to become the greatest Ninja ever! With this dream in head he will never stop his efforts, and through hard work will gain respect and acceptance. This is the rise of Ninja. In a game exclusively developed for the Xbox 360 from the ground up and for the first time ever, gamers will experience Naruto starting from the series†beginning. Re-live the hit anime and manga and experience Narutoâ€s transformation from noisy ninja-academy dropout to respected ninja. Review: 🥺 - Broken Review: Didn't Work - Terrible. Naruto: Rise of a Ninja covers the first 80 episodes of the Naruto TV series, and neatly packs it into a good few hours of fun platforming and beat em up gameplay. The great thing is, if you are a fan, that the game actually uses footage from the TV series to tell the story, and the way they've translated the 2D cartoon into a 3D game is amazing. The characters and locations look just how they should, and really add to the immersion. The platforming itself is fun and easy to adjust to, and the ability to use Naruto's jutsus to access different areas of the map is a great feature, making you want to explore the whole map again once you have unlocked a new jutsu or level. Minigames such as racing through checkpoints or delivering Ramen get progressively difficult and never seem too easy. The beat em up side of the game could in fact be a game in itself. Virtually all of the main characters are playable, each with their own special jutsu moves, that when activated often take you into a quick minigame. Unfortunately Naruto's shadow clone jutsu requires you to complete a button-prompt quick time event, and if you are not a fan of these it becomes increasingly annoying. Unfortunately, there are some negative sides to this game. If you are not a fan, you will probably not find it as fun or interesting, because you can't relate to how cool it is to see a cartoon series spanning hundreds of episodes translated into a 3D game - the gameplay is not fun enough by itself. Also, a major issue I had occured once I had downloaded the exclusive content by signing up to Ubisoft. This unlocks Shikamaru as a playable character in the beat em up mode. However, according to online forums, this is the reason my console and game were freezing virtually every time I jumped into one of the spike traps or explosive wires outside the village. Luckily the autosaves are fairly frequent, and there is a bodge fix - you must download the trial or paid version of the Sarutobi and Jiraiya playable characters. This should fix it. Even without this, there are a few niggling annoyances in some of the locations you have to jump and run through, so if you get annoyed by failing races and platform sections over and over, this is not the game for you. If you can put these aside, because you are a fan of the series, this is a great game, and well worth playing through. The beat em up sections are fun and good for multiplayer, and exploring the village is also great fun - sometimes I would spend ages doing just that and not even completing quests. So all in all, steer clear unless you are a fan of the series, or a really big platform and beat em up fan. If yoiu are either of these, this is a really FUN game!

Naruto: Rise of a Ninja is based mainly on the first 3 seasons of the anime. This is a great game for fans of Naruto and a good game for those who have not watched the anime or read the manga (I advise reading and watching them they are AWESOME) The town of Konoha is beautifully made and fun to roam around even though the actual character models themselves could be improved Overall this is a very good game with a few minor flaws 4/5
