This camera is just a cell phone hotspot mode, it can't be used as remote monitoring, but short distance is OK. Only with the Hotspot mode to connect to the Phone / Pad preview & and transport your footages by App control limit to 32 Ft.

No, it does not have IR night vision, but it does have 4 high-intensity LED fill-in lights to illuminate dark environments and record in Ultra HD 4K.
