I have a long haired GSD who easily overheats in warm weather, despite being regularly groomed. My groomer recommended the dog rake , it easily removes the 'old underhair' with no discomfort to my dog. I previously used a ferminator, which was extremely good, but this rake is far superior for my dog. I am regularly complimented on his beautiful coat. The rake is very easy to use, a good size, removes lots of old under hair, and is very inexpensive. As part of his regular care, it keeps his coat healthy and tangle free, essential for a long haired dog. It arrived when expected and good service from the seller.

This is a good, flat rake that suits long haired breeds with tough-to-brush undercoats. It requires no force at all to get undercoat out from my Keeshond puppy, although I make sure not to brush the same area too much.I mostly use other brushes on my Keeshond, but they just weren't cutting it in terms of getting out his undercoat. He gets really itchy and extremely hot, so I thought it was more important to remove as much undercoat as possible but I wanted to find a rake that would do the job but also be gentle on him as he is so young and his coat is still developing.This rake really ticks all of the boxes. I make sure I don't get it near the skin (it's not hard for me, his fur is very long and the metal teeth are a suitable length), I literally just sweep it over his coat and it removes his undercoat with ease. He doesn't dislike it being used (unless there are any tangles - I'll usually brush him with a pinhead brush and then use this rake after because of this) and I don't use it for prolonged amounts of time. It still gets out a lot of undercoat though, far more than any other brush, and doesn't cause static shocks which I have experienced with other rakes in the past.I will be including this in his grooming routine and am very pleased with the quality. It's very easy to use and comfortable for me to hold. I have no complaints.

We have a really fluffy thick double coated chow chow and have gone through so many brushes, but this one is by far the best doesn't pull or tug his fur and he doesn't get so distressed when I groom him now would highly recommend for very furry friends.

This seems to only clear out hair that is ready to shed, and so at first I wasn't sure it worked. However, when it came time for our dog to change to winter coat . . oh boy! Yup, worked as advertised!!

Amazing for getting through my dogs coat

I brought this for my fur child, not sharp just abit smaller than I thought but it does the job, takes a bit of time. It's all dependent on dog breeds. My dog is very fluffy. Reasonable price too.

Attractive appearance maki g it rady to find. Good for removing the undercoat. Good value.

Best brush I’ve used for my German Shepherd and collie. Can’t believe it’s so cheap.
