I bought this pillow to use following an abdominal surgery for the seatbelt and to carry around with me for extra comfort when we had to go out in the event I need to apply additional pressure to the area. It is small enough to fit in my fairly large purse along with the medications, paperwork, and a water bottle. It has a nice texture to the fabric. It has a pocket on the back of the cover which I used to store my phone when not using the pillow as a barrier. I could see this working well for sleeping in the car or plane in the future.

This was a good thing after my hysterectomy! It fit my ice pack in it. Was thick enough to put a barrier between me and the seat belt. No discomfort when I used it to push against my stomach. Not expensive and should be. I've washed it several times and it's still in amazing condition. Durable!

The pillow is nice, to me it seems like a decent size. Not too big & not too small. Soft and plush. I've been in a really dark space about my hysterectomy with my nerves and anxiety. And the card they include in the package meant everything. Tysm. I needed that.

I had a hysterectomy with pelvic floor reconstruction last week. This pillow has not left my sight. If you used it with an ice pack you would have to check the size of the ice pack because the pocket isn’t huge, but it could easily hold an ice pack. I used the pocket to hold my phone, chapstick, and other small things that I wanted to keep up with. Being on pain medication I’ve napped a lot and it’s easy to keep up with my stuff in this and it’s been perfect to hold on my stomach with one hand, while using my other hand to stabilize myself. It’s also filled in as my seatbelt pillow in the car because it’s small enough to put between my stomach and the seatbelt. I’ve gotten compliments on how cute it is and it’s SO soft. Definitely recommend.

Though the product itself was okay, I took a star off because I really don't appreciate it when a retail transaction is exploited as a proselytizing opportunity, as this one was. Mind your own conscience; if you must pray for me, do it in the privacy of your own mind and keep it to yourself (as, by the way, Jesus said you should do). It was a retail transaction, not an invitation into my private life. As for the product itself: The pillow is pretty much as seen in the listing. I took one star off because For me, it's too small, and the wrong shape to provide support/ice/heat coverage across my 3 small incisions. With a larger incision, I could see it being more useful. In retrospect, I think a longer, thinner, more flexible pillow would be better so that it would follow one's unique contours. I have found it useful for abdominal support while side-sleeping, but a small rolled towel or t-shirt would do the same job. I imagine someone who had a larger incision or a very different body-shape would have a different experience with the product.
