I’ve been using this gelatin for years. It dissolves well in warm liquids and sets beautifully for homemade gummies, jellies, and even mousse cakes. The texture comes out smooth and clean, not rubbery like some cheaper brands. I also like that it’s made from grass-fed, pasture-raised beef, so I feel good about the quality. I truly cannot believe the difference this gelatin has made in my skin. Was experiencing laxity & lack in plumpness & elasticity. I tried so many different collagen powders - didn’t notice any difference in my skin at all. It wasn’t until I switched to gelatin I noticed the changes. I just make my own version of “Jell-O” with it by dissolving the gelatin powder in a little cold, pure, & unsweetened fruit juice (I either juice myself, or if in a pinch, buy unsweetened in jar). When the gelatin hits the cold liquid, whisk vigorously to avoid lumps, as these will stay as hard lumps after cooled in the refrigerator. If you do see lumps that remain, just run the mixture through a blender —- I just use a stick/immersion blender to smooth it all out if I see lumps. Then, I heat more fruit juice until it’s really warm, but not hot — turn off the heat and dissolve the bloomed gelatin mixture into it. Refrigerate for a few hours, and it’s ready & oh so yummy. Then, I pour into whatever container I have around. I don’t use candy or gummy molds - I just cut it into squares. Be sure to eat it within 4-5 days. I have the equivalent of about 1/4 cup or 1/3 cup of the gelatin fruit squares each day. The skin on my face is slightly plumper, and I noticed a difference in the skin texture and tautness of my arms & thighs. It also helped plump & fill in minor wrinkle between my eyebrows & the nasolabial folds. I COULDN’T BELIEVE IT!!! But, you have to keep up with it. The skin laxity returns if you don’t consume the gelatin for a few weeks. It’s so versatile, too - you can use it as you would any other unflavored gelatin in recipes, such as panna cotta. But, I use it most w fresh pressed or squeezed fruit juices. You could even make your favorite smoothies into gelatin squares or gummies. It’s fantastic !!!

I buy this product often and add it to soups and a lot of warm meals. It mixes well but can clump if not mixed in properly (quickly) I have not made gelatins as I am generally not a fan, but this stuff is so flexible, provides protein and other health benefits that I am willing to create my own. I never enjoyed "Jell-o" but can probably be very creative with the versatility of this product.

The Vital Protein Beef Gelatin is a great quality grass-fed product, I love using for homemade sweet and savory gelatin based dishes (from basic jellies to panacottas). The gelatin comes in fine granules and it mixes perfectly with plain water, juice, cashew or almond milk/beverage, broth (for savory jelly). I never experienced any clumps or other consistency issues. I love it's plain and simple, for sweet treats I add my own Stevia or monk fruit flavored sweeteners. I can make Out of the canister the gelatin smells... well... like beef gelatin. But once prepared I can barely smell or taste it. Since I use it for cooking or desserts, not a regular supplement, I can't tell talk about the health benefits. But extra collagen in my diet usually helps with hair, skin and nails. The immediate effect of gelatin on me is for digestion; a gelatin jelly shot always relieves a bad stomach. My perfect recipe for a single serve is: sprinkle 10 grams over cold liquid, leave to bloom 5 minutes, add more liquid up to total 2 cups, microwave on beverage for 4oz setting, mix well, let sit 10-15 minutes to cool, leave in fridge for 4 hours to completely set. I personally think that you need more liquid than stated on the package; I use double the amount and get a good solid consistency. A small insignificant thing I like is the scoop the gelatin comes with; it measures perfectly 10 grams.

I've bought this product in Nov 2021, bcos my friend recommended it as my hair started to be thinner and start to fall down due to menopause ..... and now 4 months later (March 2022) I can REALLY see some improvement - I have a lot of "baby hair" growing, and also my nails are much stronger than before !!! I'm using this powder literally every day in my coffee (which I drink 2-3 times daily!) : half teaspoon of powder dissolved with 2-3 teaspoons of water in a cup (300 ml) and then poor into it hot coffee .... there is no any strange aftertaste, powder cannot be noticed and is not changing the taste of coffee, neither is coffee thick. I never ever had any health problems (like diarrhea or anything similar) what some users mentioned herer in reviews after taking this product. Right now I will order it again, bcos I almost finished first box.
