Love this wine opener. I use it all the time. It even works through the foil.

What a little powerhouse this wine opener is! I like the convenient attached foil cutter. Impressed how quickly the cork came and with ease.

This is such a great device! My wife and I are getting older and things like opening jars and uncorking wine bottles are becoming more challenging. It works exactly like advertised, as long as you insert the correct number of AA batteries in it (I initially only inserted two, not noticing the requirement for four). We were amazed at how quickly it pulled the cork and then released it into our hand. The only thing that would reduce this review from 5 stars would be if it doesn't have a decent life span. So far, so good. Kudos to the designers.

There is a learning curve to using this tool. The small black piece is just for removing the foil around the cork. Putting the tool on the bottle, applying enough pressure and waiting out the time for it to remove the cork all come with practice. It takes 4 AA batteries. The box says “electric…”, but alas, batteries aren’t electric, the box designer got too excited. The recipient was very pleased. I got red, a favorite color, but a pretty large choice of colors to pick from.

Works very well, we previously had a rechargeable one rather than a battery changing one, so surprised that it is strong as it is. The battery seems to have lasted fairly long, we've had it for several months and use it frequently.

Ele é lindo, silencioso, prático e funciona muito bem. Na borda vem o corta lacre, tirou, é só encaixá-lo na boca da garrafa bem retinho na rolha e voilá! Ao apertar o botão para baixo, segure firme a garrafa e o aparelho o verá pelo visor lateral ele descer e subir com a rolha. Para extrair a rolha de dentro do aparelho é só apertar no botão para cima. Coloque como usa porque vi pessoas falando que não funciona e é SUPER INTUITIVO, rápido, prático e elegante abrir um vinho. Embora eu seja fã do saca-rolhas de 2 estágios, me rendi a modernidade. Aproveitem e já reservem o vinho que será aberto quando ele chegar! Compra aprovada! If you often open bottles with cork, can you count how often you broke it? Well I cant and when I saw this electric wine opener so affordable I had to try it. Have to say while it is quite noisy with the small motor it does do its job really well and you can remove the cork from wine bottles super easy. It also has a foil cutter for easy removal of the foil over the bottles and then just put the opener on top, press the button and seconds later the bottle is open. Its super easy to use. Considering this electric opener is cheaper as some cork screw openers, I can only highly recommend it.

I tried to uncork several bottles of wine with this gadget - it worked about 5% of the time! The rest of the time it just pushed the cork deeper into the wine bottle causing the wine to spill. A design defect - I think the metal used for the worm is too thick. Stay away from this product.
