New Upgraded MK50 Battery for Moto G 5G 2020 XT2113 & Moto One 5G Ace Battery with Repair Tools

This JE40 Battery Replacement was a perfect fit for my Motorola "motoG7 play" cell phone. It took me 60 minutes to remove the old battery and install this new replacement battery. I went slow and was careful not to damage seals and other items. I did not have to detach the fingerprint reader, and I worked carefully not to damage the connection. I really like that this battery replacement kit includes the battery, phillips screwdriver, plastic shims (to pry the cell phone case open), quality seals, and everything else needed to get the job done. The new battery works perfectly, it charges quickly. I fully charged the battery to 100% and let it run down to less than 10% before recharging it to full charge, in a cycle three times. It takes about 2.5 days for the new battery to run from 100% down to less than 10%. This replacement battery is working great for me and I recommend it to you.

I have a Moto Z3 that I use primarily for an alarm. The battery life from a full charge was about 4 hours and needless to say, I left the charger on it 24/7. I had nothing better to do, and at a cost of $16.99 and about 2 hours of fiddling with the phone, I had the battery replaced and it works great. I have "battery saver" on, turn the phone off during the day and have it on only at night to use as my alarm. After 70-80 hours of on time, I still have about 70% battery life remaining! The instructions were pretty detailed and the tools included were pretty handy. One needs to be a little bit saavy for this type of detail though. This is a phone that a professional phone repair shop wouldn't touch a couple of years ago because they had had a pretty poor success rate on the Z3 battery replacement.

Had the battery installed professionally. Now the phone only charges to 10%. Don't buy this.

By following the instructions I was able to avoid damaging the fingerprint sensor. I did not have to remove that. The included tools were helpful.It was not easy to get the back off the phone, but I did it. The instructions call the back "rear glass."The battery fit and it runs the phone for a long time - almost as good as new.

The battery itself works fine, overall physical size is slightly smaller than the original battery but I don't know if that necessarily means it has less capacity. My main issue with this kit is the included torx drivers seem to be made out of butter. From what I can tell they include a T3, T4, and T5 torx driver, I needed the T4, but it stripped before it ever loosened a single screw. In the end I was able to use it to remove two screws by filing away the stripped end, but then it stripped again. About to order more tools when I decided to file down the T3 until it widened out to T4, which surprisingly was able to remove the other seven screws. If you already have a decent small torx kit, this kit will be fine. But if you expect to use the tools included be prepared for some frustration.

Saved my phone! Battery was a perfect match and came with tools to remove the tiny screws. Removed the internal cover, pulled off the broken battery cable (old battery was exploded) and connected the new battery. Turned on the phone and it worked with 44% battery left so it does need to be charged.

It is a great kit that includes all the necessary tools to get the job done but the battery is too long for Moto Edge Plus 2022.

My battery took a dive and the way the battery is installed in the phone is atrocious! Almost impossible to open the phone and get the battery out. This kit totally made it possible to change the battery. It wasn't totally easy but it was doable.
