Nice addition for 4 years old Duplo set. Sturdy and good build quality as you’d expect from Lego.

We will probably need to get another one as it's so good. Our 22 months old grandson loves his Duplo. Much of the collection dates from his Mum's and Uncle's childhood toys. This plate gives him a surface to build his buildings and vehicles. Completely imagination, so they're fabulously quirky.. a building and part of a wall has a Duplo animal or a piece with a wheel etc etc. yes we definitely need one more of these. Maybe Duplo needs to market these base plates in a little collection of sizes. Please could Duplo also sell packs of useful pieces separately, such as wheels, 35 plus years ago our son had a great a Duplo helicopter the little fixing on the top is partly broken and the rotor blade no longer stays in place, the special wheels are from the helicopter. Fantastic ones with a towing hook on each and they're each two wheels side by side. He adds these wheels to any vehicle with a towing bit and carries extra passengers mostly animals.
