Pignic: A Springtime Book For Kids

This is a cute kids book! A family of pigs goes on a pignic, not a picnic. They have adventures of being too short to climb a tree, and can't fly a kite. But familiar characters show up. The tortise is available to help the short child into a tree. The Big Bad Wolf huffs and puffs and helps the kids fly a kite. Like most families, when they walk or hike the family is spread out along the path. There are three times when the family is in close proximity: on the front cover, when eating, and when in danger. The book ends with the family arriving home dirty, happy, and tired. Just like the "Good Old Days" with my family.

Cute, easy book

This book is adorable and the illustrations are great.

This is a great book for a baby storytime. Very short with limited text and big, bright illustrations about pigs having a great day at their pignic. Hooray!

My 3 year old loves this book. He can "read" the whole book (it is mostly pictures). But the best part is that when he first saw the wolf he told me he was bad, he was referring to the 3 little pigs story, however there was a nice surprise in this story. Definitely reccomend!
