Foam Dice with Pockets - 1 Cube - Classroom Teacher Supplies, Preschool and Learning Activities

I got this for my classroom. It has been a great purchase. It is very durable and easy to grip for students with different abilities. I highly recommend for a wide range of academic and SEL activities.

I try to be generous in my reviews, but I found nothing to praise in this item. The cube is hard, not soft as expected. When it is tossed, it does not roll, it just drops. It seems to be filled with several hard, thick layers of something stiff rather than one foam cube. The layers shift and do not maintain a square shape. The craftsmanship is poor, and even the colors are disappointing.

I didn’t like that the flap ripped easily

My son is in kindergarten now and has a speech delay I am stay at home mom so I work along side with him one on one but he gets bored early so I got these to help with our sight words and letters awesome I love em.

Plastic sleeves are made of very cheap plastic and tore the first time my students used the dice.

I use this dice during Primary Singing Time at church. I put a stack of square papers in each side of the dice, each square indicating a different action to use while singing each phrase of the song. After the kids roll the dice I remove that paper to reveal a new option for the next roll.I love the dice. It’s a good weight and enjoyable for the kids. I do have one suggestion. I wish there was a flap of plastic to fold over the opening of each side. Some of the papers fell out of the dice as it was rolled. I could probably find a way to secure them in there… maybe by laminating the papers so they fit more tightly. Or maybe I’ll need to put some adhesive Velcro on each side to keep each pocket closed.

This dice is made of MUCH harder foam than other similar ones. It does not roll across a table or floor. It just drops with a thud. You have to roll it in a very specific way to have it actually tumble across the floor. That is not very useful when working with younger children or students with disabilities, which are the populations I serve.

I found this product to be absolutely useless. for something that should be able to hold flashcards , it doesn't. The size of the sleeve is large enough to fit flashcards in however, when the dice is rolled the cards slide out. I have had to add velcro to the sleeves in order to keep the cards inside the sleeve.
