Good product, at a nice price. I'm bearded and am now using a 'shavette' to 'clean' my beard lines sort of weekly. I certainly used to get lots of irritation/ razor burn particularly on my neck around the Adam's apple area in the bad old days of expensive/ poor quality/ painful cartridge razor shaves and also still (to a slightly lesser degree) when I graduated to electric shaver shaves. I anticipated such irritation with using the shavette (you're dragging a razor blade across your face right?!?) but it's much, much less in truth and as yet zero nicks either (after three shaves now). I only wish I'd tried this mode of shaving years ago really. Anyway, any post-shave irritation now is minimal like I say but any present is removed by using an alum block and then finishing with this nice, soothing balm. It has a pleasant scent too. My only (very!) minor gripe with the product is with it coming in a glass bottle. Just like with sauce; it's easier to regulate what comes out of a plastic squeezy bottle init! But it's a good product and I didn't deem that sufficient grounds to remove a star from my review but I would have preferred a squeezy bottle personally. Happy shaving!

Smells nice, is soothing, and works really well to prevent razor bumps and irritation. The bottle is actually clear though as opposed to blue like shown in the product description but it still works the same. Only complaint is that the bottle could be bigger!

Great and affordable

I've been using this NIVEA MEN aftershave balm for a while now, and I wouldn't change it for another. I have very sensitive skin that's prone to redness after shaving, and this product is one of the best I've found. The texture is light, absorbs quickly, and leaves the skin feeling fresh and immediately soothed. It doesn't sting at all, it's not greasy, and I really notice it helps reduce the irritation and discomfort typical of shaving, even on days when my skin is more damaged. It also has a very soft and pleasant scent, not at all invasive, which is appreciated because it doesn't compete with the perfume or cause any fatigue. The packaging is convenient, it lasts a long time, and the price-performance ratio is excellent. In my case, I use it daily and my skin feels more hydrated and protected. Highly recommended, especially if you have delicate skin or are looking for an aftershave that really does its job and leaves your face soft and smooth. I will keep buying it!

Old but the best for men great price

I love this balm and it's such good value for money. It's not greasy and has no real odour to it which I prefer. Typically I shave my face and head and then rub this all over including my sensitive neck. After a minute it's been fully absorbed by my skin and I end up with nice clean, refreshed and moisturised skin.

I originally bought NIVEA MEN's Protect & Care Replenishing Post-Shave Balm to soothe my face after shaving. It absolutely excels at that – the calming formula with aloe vera leaves my skin feeling refreshed and comfortable. But here's the surprising part… I've since started using it as an everyday moisturizer for my beard and (this is where it gets weird) as a bald head cream! The lightweight, non-greasy texture is perfect. It absorbs quickly and leaves my head and face feeling hydrated without any oily residue. If you're looking for a solid post-shave balm, or even a surprisingly effective all-around moisturizer for your beard and scalp, this gets my recommendation!
