My back had gotten so bad that I was sleeping on an air bed on the floor. Our memory foam mattress was just too hard, but we couldn't put a softer memory foam topper on it because I get so hot at night. A friend told me that they made "cooling" memory foam, but as near as I can tell that's just hype. After doing some research, I decided to try this product. At first it didn't seem like much--my husband said, "it doesn't seem thick enough." (This is actually a good thing, because you can still used your same fitted sheets.) I did not experience an instant revelation after putting it on the bed. It's not like sleeping on a magical cloud or anything. But after a week of sleeping comfortably on it, my lower back is very happy. (I'm 140 lbs. and mostly a back sleeper; my husband is heavier and a side sleeper, and reports a decreased incidence of shoulder-numbness.) It doesn't trap my body heat; when I wake up, the foam under me is only pleasantly warm. And it had no smell at all, even right out of the box. Some people comment that latex has a weird texture that you have to get used to; I don't get this. To me it just feels like a soft foam pad. And since I was preparing myself for the price of a new mattress, spending just over 200 bucks to fix my sleep problems (and avoid mattress shopping) seems like a pretty great deal.

I have a Sleep Number mattress that I like to keep on firm for my back. The only problem with this is that it causes "pressure" points when i lay on my side...my shoulders, shoulder blades, hips, the outer side of my knees, and even the outer sides of my ankles hurt, causing me to move around a lot. When visiting my daughter and son in law's cottage in Cashiers, NC, they had this topper, the 3 inch Soft, on the bed that I slept in. I wasn't so sure about it when I first sat down on it. However, when I layed down to go to sleep, it was heavenly! I am a really hyper person and have a hard time turning my brain off to fall asleep. I honestly, for the first time in forever, fell asleep right away! When I got back home, I ordered this king topper for myself. It has been a total game changer for me. I can keep my mattress on firm for my back, but this topper adds just the perfect amount of softness that eliminates all of my pain spots. I cannot begin to describe how wonderful it is, and I truly do not want get out of my bed in the morning. This is the best $400 I have spent on anything in a long time. Words cannot describe how wonderful it is, and I can promise anyone who buys it will fall in love with it!

So far pretty good. No off gassing. I ordered the 3 inch and I would say that if you are over 140-150 lbs order the 4 inch. It expands quickly but does not really reach that full 3 in point. I ordered the 3 in and wish I had ordered the 4 inch. Time will tell, I have only had it 1 week.

In late January of 2025 we purchased a new orthopedic mattress believing it would be comfortable. It turned out to be absolutely miserable! Since we had purchased the mattress over 100 miles away I did not care for the idea of taking it back, so I started looking for solutions. Pure Green Natural Latex Mattress Topper 3 inch rescued me! I've been sleeping on it for about 2 months. Definitely soft and cool. But its us deforming where I sleep already. I'm 188lbs and 6'1. So I'm rotating but it seems awfully soon for this. Its expensive af compared to other mattress toppers so it needs to be pretty darn good.
