I use grip seal plastic bags for storing and protecting many things, but my most common use is for preventing products that dry out easily from doing so. This can be for various products and for me DIY related items, such as powered fillers, adhesives, cement and similar. I do use airtight storage containers as well but they are expensive and take up a lot of space so I've been looking for larger zip bags to keep excess products in until I've got space in the airtight containers for when in use until empty.These bags are ideal for this role at 50x60cm which is definitely not a common size. They are a good thickness and the grip seal part works well. I wouldn't use these in a role where frequent access is needed, but for my purpose or storing clothing, bedding etc then these are ideal.Finally, the price of £18.49 for 30 also makes them good value.

I have been using this type of bag for my greeting's card business but in much smaller sizes. Although I don't trade anymore I ordered these larger bags to store bolts of fabrics in. There is a conversation about air circulation etc etc. But my fabrics will be used 'this year' sort of thing and I don't feel they need any air circulation. I do however, want to protect my fabrics from moths! And I can't afford to have little moth traps around or camphor type balls: my fabric could already be damaged by then!I've always wanted a 'thicker' type bag that is sturdy. In the past I've had differing qualities, sometimes I've had much thinner ones than others. These bags are like the original ones I used to get. I don't think the microns of the plastics are given in this listing, which is something I would want to know before ordering. But having said that, I can't state the microns here as I can't be exactly sure, but I like this thickness of these bags.These are absolutely brilliant for my larger quantities of fabrics, they protect them from moths and variations in temperature/moisture, and I am not stuck with those cello type bags with a hole in for safety purposes - which can let moths in! Brilliant bags.

The zip locks work well and so far I have been very happy with them. I have now put away a lot of clothes ready to wear when the weather is warmer. Recommended.

Great bags. Personally bagged up my yarn balls to keep dust, moths and all kinds of debris from my yarn. Can fit quite a bit in there, then put the yarn balls in the bags in tubs to keep safe. Very nice sized bags, sturdy.
