Silhouette Cameo 5 pro MK II - 24" Cutting Mat, Power Cords, Built in Roll Feeder, Silhouette Studio Software

Amazing cutter, I've had the Cameo 4 for around 3-5 years and have had no issues with excellent results. I just ordered this cutter now and its essentially just the longer version of the Cameo 4, its easy to use and is a great machine. The price is also great. The machine retails around $400 if im not wrong and i bought it when it was on discount for 290 dollars which is just an amazing price. What I will say for new people getting into die cutting who are looking to buy this machine is to do all the research possible before buying, a lot of the bad reviews on here are from people who either use low quality vinyl, or don't know how to use the software or the machine at all. For those similar to me who are upgrading or looking to get a larger machine for larger projects that came from a previous cameo, Its definitely worth the purchase. The only bad thing i can think of is the fact that its a bit loud but other then that everything is perfect.

My old silhouette quit after many years. I replaced it with the cameo 4 pro because of the increased width it is capable of cutting. Cuts quickly but is louder than my previous cameo 2

When I got the cutter it was nice to see it was well packed and did seem like a well built machine, but there were issues. First off, the printer would not connect to bluetooth and after contacting support they told me to flip over the machine remove the bluetooth dongle, insert it back in and try again. Still did not work, so searched online and found out there is an issue with their software and bluetooth connectivity. I wish I would have known this before I bought the machine and support should have said something instead of telling me to do something that was not going to work. So I had to order a printer cable since they are also using an ancient connection type to your computer. Next problem was cutting! It was fine the first four cuts, but the 5th cut which was 19in wide by 84in long turned out to be a problem. The guides do not work properly and eventually the vinyl gets skewed, jam the cutter, and destroy the vinyl. I then adjusted the rollers a little to see if I could get it to work, but at about 80% through the 6th cut it did the same thing. This machine destroyed almost 16ft of expensive metallic vinyl. The was the last problem I was having and sent it back.

Great for larger projects. Excellent connection to both Mac and pc. Would highly recommend.

I've had issues with this machine losing its place being used as a plotter on heavyweight bristol. What solved it was placing the machine on a 4'x4' table with no obstacles and making sure you pay attention to how the machine keeps its place. Don't forget to read the instructions and make sure you are using it as recommended.

Estamos apenas usándolo y descubriendo su versatilidad en plan lo que trae básico. No siento que sea ruidoso como dicen en algunos reviews. De hecho, el sonido que emite al cortar es tipo futurista, jajajaja! La caja si llegó algo sucia y algunas rajaduras (creo que la manipulación puede mejorar). Ya cortamos vinil adhesivo y cartulina lisa, y todo bien! Compramos un cable extensor USB por temas de localización del producto vs computadora. Por Bluetooth no aparece en la computadora (esto ya vi que le pasó a otros usuarios). Algunos comentaban que tenian que eliminar todos los dispositivos vinculados y vincular solo el Cameo. Usamos una Imac 2021, I7. El equipo en si, si llegó limpio. El software que usa es el básico de Silhoutte Studio. No lee archivos SVG (para ello debes actualizar a la siguiente versión de software que si es paga. Si opino que vale la pena comprar las actualizaciones de software por la versatilidad de archivos que leerá y flujo de trabajo (si te vas a dedicar a ello como trabajo más frecuente, el que es nuestro caso). No recuerdo haber visto un manual impreso de instalación y puesta en marcha. Pero si hay videos en Youtube, referencia. Nos gusta el equipo. Si lo recomiendo. Y sepa que vas a querer comprar las otras cuchillas de corte ☺️. Actualización: ya lo reconoce el Bluetooth de la Imac.

Very nice cutter enjoy the larger size for doing larger projects. The silhouette cameo is easy to setup and navigate for designs with a easy to follow along app for use.

När jag hämtar ut paketet från ombudet så är produktkartonen inte inslagen eller skyddad på något sätt vilket har resulterat till att hela kartongen är trasig och tejpad för att behålla strukturen av kartonen. sedan när jag öppnar kartongen så ligger allting i slängt, inte med några papper eller påsar.. allt låg bara islängt! dessutom fattades det en USB kabel, skärmatta och massa annat säkert. väl när jag plockar ut maskinen så ser jag att den är skadad på varje del av maskinen och dessutom SMUTSIG!... tänkte att jag ger det ett försök.. kopplar in maskinen till eluttaget och maskinen fungerar inte ens. med det sagt så är det någon innan mig som har köpt denna maskin, märkt att den är trasig, slagit på den överallt så repor och sprickor samt djupa hack i plasten har kommit. sedan skickat tillbaka den till Amazon & så beställde jag en NY maskin.. men nej, jag fick någon annans skräp som inte ens fungerar och är totalt misshandlad. Känner mig lurad rejält och nu när jag ber om retur så ska jag behöva vänta minst 14 dagar EFTER ATT DOM HAR MOTTAGIT MIN RETUR..? helt sjukt, aldrig haft några problem med Amazon men detta var ett skämt.

Mein Frau liebt Hobbyplotter. Wir haben 6 Geräte. Vornehmlich Brother Scan'n'Cut aber auch eine Cricut. Bisher waren wir mit allen Geräten zufrienden, sie hatten Vor- und Nachteile, aber taten was sie sollen. Dann sahen wir die Cameo 5 Plus und dachten, die nehmen wir mal. Wegen der etwas größeren Größe und der Möglichkeit der Cameos ohne Bett zu schneiden. Doch das Produkt, immerhin für November angekündigt und in allen Shops gelistet, wurde auf Dezember, dann auf Januar, dann auf April 2024 verschoben. Das hätte ich mal als Dignal werten sollen mich mit der Firma und deren Produkte mehr auseinanderzusetzen. Aber wir waren jetzt ja in Anschaffungslaune. Also haben wie die Cameo 4 Pro gekauft. Noch breiter, 60cm, mit der Möglichkeit ohne Matte zu schneiden (was eines der extrem wichtigen Kriterien für uns war). Und auch gleich noch den automatischen Einzug dazu. Wie schön wäre das gewesen... Aber Pustekuchen. Schon am ersten Tag war meine Frau vollkommen frustriert, nichts wollte richtig klappen, manches ging und wenn man meinte einen Fehler gefunden zu haben, war es im nächsten Versuch wieder nichts. Dann habe ich mich mit dem Teil beschäftigt: Es ist von der Größe, der Festigkeit, der Einstellungen der Rollen und Federchen abhängig ob es überhaupt gehen kann und selbst dann ist es nicht vollständig konsistent, kann mehrfach gut gehen und dann geht auf einmal ein Schnitt vollkommen daneben. Das Problem liegt im Design des Geräts. Daher empfehle ich dieses Gerät auf gar keinen Fall zu kaufen. Wenn man sich auf reddit oder youtube umsieht (was ich erst nachher gemacht habe) und auch hier in den schlechten Bewertungen nachliest (was ich auch leider erst jetzt gemacht habe), dann stellt man fest, dass 2 winzige Rollen mit eindeutig zu wenig Anpressdruck für den glatten und gleichmäßigen Lauf über 60cm Breite, bis zu einigen Metern Länge und Materialien unterschiedlichster Stärke zuständig sind. Schon der Unterschied von 220g DIN A4 (ging gut, sogar mit Einzugsautomatik) zu 250g 12"*12" war gigantisch (ging nämlich komplett gar nicht, Einzug so 80% ok per Automatik, aber kein einziger Schnitt sauber, selbst die ohne Verziehen waren nicht sauber. Die Idee so einer Maschine ist nett, aber die Umsetzung ist gelinge gesagt eine Zumutung und lässt mich von dieser Marke komplett Abstand nehmen in Zukunft. Ich empfehle Hobbyisten bei Brother zu schauen und wer Rollen und Breite braucht, sollte gleich einen richtigen Plotter nehmen. Das hier ist eine Zumutung oder vielleicht auch schon eine Frechheit, ich empfinde es jedenfalls so. Vermutlich werde ich das Gerät einfach versuchen umzubauen, die Antriebsrollen ersetzen und auch die Andruckfederchen gegen die Wellung des Materials verbessern. Mal sehen... So ist das einfach nur Frust.

Amazon propone l'usato garantendone qualità e indicando qualche graffio estetico, arrivato sfasciato, pezzi ovunque nonostante l'imballo esterno fosse integro. Il. Plotter non funziona, la testina non taglia, con rumori meccanici evidenti. Mancano componenti ed è stata evidentemente manomessa.... Resa immediatamente e acquistata nuova.

長年愛用してきたカメオ２のガタがきてしまったので、思い切って大きなサイズに買い替え。 ソフト含め使用感はそれほど変わらないが、2の時よりカットの精度が甘くなりやすい。 これは多分調整がうまくいっていないだけだとは思うが、調整が2の時より大きいせいか少し繊細なのかな？ そのうち慣れるんだろうけど、今のところ使い勝手がどうにも悪い。 ロールをセットできるようになったのは地味にありがたい。 ただ60センチ幅のロールがあまり売っていないのは買ってから初めて気が付いた。 誰が悪いわけでもないが、購入して数か月で新型が出たのが正直とてもショック。
