This is the second humidifier of this model that I have purchased. The first one was a white model from BJ’s that was no longer in stock. It worked well for two years and then stopped working no matter how often we cleaned it or tried troubleshooting we could not get it to work again. This is the exact same model, but in black. The only reason I preferred the white is because it was easier to identify if there was any mold buildup however it works great. It comes with a remote, which is easy to use and convenient. I have had many different humidifiers over many years and this model is my favorite because it is a convenient size and it’s easy to refill from the top. It has different missed levels and it also has different humidity level levels, which is helpful if you don’t want the room to be too humid. It’s quiet and although it has a nightlight, I don’t use it. I did purchase the extra cartridges to change out periodically, and I did buy the same brand‘s cartridges. I haven’t changed them out yet so that may be a different review.

I ordered this because I have had a great experience with this brand. I have a cool mist version and wanted a dual one for my bedroom at night. Pros- ver yquiet, puts out a good amount of humidity, refillable from the top so you don't have to lug the tank to a faucet. It has a night light feature and the ability to turn off all the lights. The auto feautre works great, I set it to the desired level and it cycles on and off as needed.Cons: I wish the sensor showed the actual humidity level in the room. The other version I have does show it so I know when I might need to make adjustments. I really, really wish that it had an extended neck. The humidifier has a low profile and I have noticed that the area around it can get damp. The other version I have has a removable, adjustable extention that you can add so the mist is released at a higher level. I have not had the dampness issues with that one that I have noticed with this lower one.Overall I am happy with the purchase. It has addressed the winter dryness and is helping me sleep more comfortably.

We love this humidified! It’s completely silent and definitely is powerful enough for a large room. Very happy with this purchase.

First let me say, this is a wonderful humidifier. Did I want to pay a lot of money for one? No, but here are the reasons I purchased it. You can actually increase the volume of the mist which is nice. Very easy to use and it comes with a remote. I recently had surgery so the remote was a bonus so I didn't have to get out of bed to turn it off and on. Also very easy to clean. I also really like the fact that you can fill it with a pitcher of water and not carry a heavy item. You won't be sorry if you purchase this.

I got this for our bedroom to use at night while sleeping. Very quiet machine and love all the features. I really like it has a spot to add essential oils on a pad, which if you use eucalyptus, helps even more with any stuffiness at night.

I chose this Homedics Deluxe Ultrasonic Humidifier in early February because of the same reason everyone else got a humidifier last winter. With a living room larger than 500 sq ft, I knew it wouldn’t quite reach full effectiveness but I was happy to have the humidity level reach 42% when it was typically 30%. That wasn’t as high as I would have liked, but was a definite improvement. The features listed seemed to meet everything I could have wanted. I won’t repeat what they are all for because that is described in the product text. And the unit did function well.The plastic material that makes up the tank feels quite stable with 1.5 gallons of water inside. The entire unit does not need to be moved to wash out the tank and refill it. That is my favorite point with this unit. My least favorite is the level of white dust that was visibly left behind on the furniture. A few days after using the humidifier, I noticed a sheen of white dust across an area of the black refrigerator door in the kitchen. It took me a few moments to figure out that it was from the unit, in the living room, with the dining room between the two. I used the demineralization cartridge, but that clearly did not do the job well enough. Or maybe too well, I’m really not sure, but the white dust was completely unacceptable. When I use this Homedics Deluxe Humidifier again after the summer of this year, I will put the gallon of water through my Zero water filter system to remove most of the minerals responsible for the hard water. Hopefully, my experience will be dust free from then on.

We are very happy with this Humidifier runs for 24 hours on a full tank and is very quiet we have two of them and are very happy

There is no UV-C light for sanitizing. I don’t care what the description says. Sent it back.Started to stink.
