Being in a drought for several years, I'm extremely conscious of water use. I bought the Rainpoint water flow meter to save water and understand my water consumption when watering my plants or grass. It does exactly that with real-time flow rate. Easy to install and has brass inlet. Easy to read LCD screen and comes with a battery. No issues with water leakage. The product is durable. This is a great product for those who want to conserve water.

Rainpoint makes and sells good products so when this flowmeter became available I jumped on the chance to try it out.I have a small orchard, several gardens, and five pens of various livestock that need water more than once a day. Short of waiting for the water company to tell me how much I use in total over a month, I had nothing to calculate daily usage until now. With this meter I can read, not only the flow rate but also water consumption over various periods. Until you get used to their push button menu, it's best to keep the instructions in your work vest pocket or the meter - they will come in quite handy until you get used to it.The meter comes complete with a battery- just plug and play as they say - and includes a few ready spares. Both connections are brass to limit galvanic corrosion. 5 year warranty shows the faith they have in their product quality.If you need a good flowmeter at a decent price, this is the one you'll want.Note: I did not test accuracy. Within a gallon is fine for me though this flowmeter measures to the tenths.Now that I've experienced how well this works, I will buy more for each of the outdoor faucets on the property.

I've used this a several times now with my RV to ensure the amount of water filled (when flushing the tanks). It seems to be pretty accurate. I used the five-gallon bucket method, and the numbers matched up really close. Easy to use and works well.

I've had several of these types of devices in the past ... all have worked, to a point, but none lasted very long. I've not had this one very long, but it is by far the best I've tried. It feels very solid, and the connections are much higher quality than others I've had. I really like the reversible face, which allows me to see the numbers right side up. All the others I've had were fixed, and I had to read the volume of water I was putting into my tank upside down. I would recommend this product. I have not received anything for this review.

Seems very solid and well built, better than expected. Larger than expected, think tennis ball, but small enough to keep on a boat or RV. Accuracy stated at +-5%, higher than I prefer, but in this price range that's typical. Mine tested to be less than 2% high at 3 gal/min. Wish it had a calibration feature in the software to adjust accuracy, but knowing my unit is within 1 gal at 50 gals measured is useful. Display rotating 180* is easy, so is measuring flow in both directions and conveniently labeled. 3 modes are selectable, Last mode resets itself at 30 secs if water stops, Total 1 and 2 are reset manually. Can't assess durability yet, but chose brass inlet/outlet to prevent damage to threads from periodic use. Instructions are also better than most, but still a few translation errors that cloud intent. Powers off automatically and takes a button cell CR2032. Probably 5 stars if it hold up, despite noted minor shortcomings.

The Rainpoint water flow meter is a nice solid meter and I did a test and it was very accurate. I am going to use it to fill my water tank in my RV. Thank You for good product

The media could not be loaded. I received this product well packaged, and delivered on time. I've included a picture of the unpacked box, which includes some very nice accessories, and an easy-to-understand manual. I've also tested it's accuracy. I used a 2.5 gallon bucket and filled it. The meter read 2.4 gallons, but that is, at most, no more than 4% error, and probably much less, because it could have been 2.4999 and not clicked over yet (eg. It only shows 10ths of gallons). So, as an aid for watering my yard, it's perfect. It has the weighty feel of a quality, durable product. I highly recommend it.
