Amazing Quality. Seriously.
The media could not be loaded. This thing is way better than other molds. We have a few polvoron molds that we purchased at the local palengke the last time we visited the Philippines and have used them numerous times. Compared to this one they're junk. This is much heavier material, stronger construction, and sturdier feel. it works the same as the other molds we have, and is about the same effort to clean. If I had a complaint it would be the spring. because of the stronger and heavier spring, it's harder to push to eject the polvoron. Being stiffer than the palengke molds we have is a good thing, but this is MUCH stiffer. If you're making quite a few it might get tiring. That said I still prefer the weight of this spring to the weak ones on the typical molds.

Makes Polvoron shaping easy
The last time I made polvoron, I had to get creative when molding and I decided I needed one of these tools. This makes shaping polvoron super easy. The oval one seemed like there was a tendency to get the plate twisted and stuck when pushed out, but with the round one you don't have to worry about that.I know these are only a dollar or two if you have a chance to get them in the Philippines, but here this is actually one of the better priced options available, and saves you the plane ticket. What I will say is I wish the middle grip/finger handle was a little wider since I have big hands, it was uncomfortable by the time I got through making mine. I'm also not sure what the best way to clean behind the push plate is so just kinda did my best.To test this out, I made brown butter vanilla polvoron using this recipe and they're just as good as they sound!Ingredients:200g all-purpose flour (toasted)100g powdered milk (toasted)100g powdered sugar120g browned butter (start with 135 and heat until brown and fragrant, add back water to 120g if needed)1 Vanilla bean (or 5g vanilla extract)

It was previously used.
I bought this polvoron mold to make polvoron. It would work well for this if it wasn't already used.

Premium-Quality Polvoron Molder
This premium polvoron molder is sturdy and made of high-quality stainless steel. The round mold is well-sized, typical for regular polvoron (also known as "Crumbly Shortbread Cookie"). As it's brand new, the polvoron molder is slightly stiff, but still easy to work with. It requires a bit more effort at first, but this doesn't affect its usability. I expect repeated use to loosen it. It performs well, producing delicious treats for the family. Easy to wash and compact for storage in a cabinet drawer, it's highly recommended for anyone looking to purchase a polvoron molder.

Good for Polvorons - With a Few Flaws Though.
What I like about the Polvoron Moulder:- What I like about this Polvoron Molder is how neat and uniform it makes my cookies. They come out with a smooth surface and a slightly oval shape that looks really nice and consistent.- It has a spring-loaded cookie ejector, which makes it a very handy tool—especially when making Polvorons or any cookies with a dry consistency, like the dry ginger snap recipe my brother gave me. The ejector helps keep the process quick and clean.- One downside is that there's no decorative stamp on the inside of the mould. It would’ve been nice if the cookies came out with some kind of design or texture on top to give them a little more personality.- The inside of the Polvoron maker isn’t finished professionally. You can clearly see the raw welding bead, and it’s bumpy and uneven. It doesn’t affect function too much, but it does make the tool feel a little rough around the edges.- Like another reviewer mentioned, sometimes the flat part of the ejector twists and gets stuck in the out position when pushing out a cookie. It’s not a deal breaker, but it does interrupt the workflow and gets a bit annoying when you’re making a full batch. For those reasons, I took a couple of stars off. Still, it's a useful tool if you're making Polvorons or dry-style cookies and want them to look clean and smooth.
