This company is based in Texas and returns phone calls! Because of an allergy to mold, I have to check ingredients from manufacturers for coconut and its derivatives. This company ranks at the top of friendly, responsive, courteous responses. I bought this product because it's one of the few without coconut, but aside from that obvious benefit, this is an excellent conditioner that improves hair health and doesn't weigh down fine hair. Smells great, and is a superb value for your buck!

If it were not for the scent, it would easily earn 5 stars from me. It's a very sweet, strong smell that, even after it dries, is stronger than my perfume. Otherwise, it is a wonderful conditioner that lasts a while and makes my household's type 2 hair look great. Bought once, would happily buy again if they came out with an unscented version.

This is the only conditioner (of the many, many conditioners I've tried) that truly conditions my curly dry hair. I absolutely love it. The Mop Top gentle cleansing shampoo is also great.

I started the Curly Girl Method and heard a YouTuber rave about MopTop. I tried the sample pack and instantly fell in love. The shampoo and conditioner are very moisturizing while containing a good balance of protein. The consistency is perfect - not too thick but not too watery. The conditioner provides just the right amount of "slick" feel and makes my hair easy to brush. My hair feels well conditioned. But the best is the scent - who know bamboo could smell so good?? It is hard to describe, but it is a sweet, fresh scent that makes me look forward to wash days - and I'm usually intolerant to most scents. Definitely recommend.

I wanted to love this conditioner but it’s not moisturizing enough for my hair. I have very fine 2C hair and this leave my hair feeling very dried out and flat.

I got this conditioner b/c it doesn't have any harmful ingredients. It turns out it also smells nice (but doesn't linger), doesn't weigh my hair down, & is fine to use daily. I'm a fan!

This conditioner is amazing! It is the only conditioner that will actually moisturize my lower then low porosity hair. Everything else has too much protein, or too much oil for my hair, leaving it dry and brittle. I have fine wavy hair, but a lot of it. This moisturizes very well, but never leaves my hair weighed down or greasy. It actually gets into my hair shaft, rather then just sitting on top! I have tried so many conditioners, and can not handle chemical smells. This is scented with citrus essenial oils, and the smell does not linger. It is also a very pure, natural product, which is very important to me. I am very grateful to mop top for making such a wonderful product. If not for this, my poor hair would be dry as a dessert. Don't ever stop making it!
