Mikasa MVA200 2016 Rio Olympic Game Ball (Blue/Yellow)

I bought this after a lot of research. Although the ball I received said Made In Japan, and had the FIVB stamp, it is a complete piece of garbage. I've had several experienced volleyball players locally and a pro shop owner say something isn't right with it.I played with someone else's mva200 and it was light years better than mine. The ball is completely dead and feels like a pumped up dodge ball or something from a perverted water polo game.Bottom line, if you are going to buy this ball, the 25 dollar version is probably fake.

I bought this ball online from Amazan.com. on the picture you see two big ass stamp saying Official Fiv3 Approved, but when you get your order there is no stamp on the ball completely different from pic.. You cant go wrong with the official Volleyball. It feels lighter than other versions, but it works perfectly. If you want the perfect ball for Volley, this one is it... and the price right now, is perfect.

I played with this ball extensively when I played in college as we had the U.S. sitting volleyball team practice at our wellness center full-time and the paralympic practiced part-time there - thus these volleyballs were always on hand. I do not care for the texture that much, but that is more of a personally opinion. My hands tend to sweat a lot and this style of grip made it a bit more slippery than others.Overall it is a great all-around indoor ball that I believe is balanced regardless of your strengths. I primarily played setter and this ball set very well even with my aforementioned grip issues. If this ball had the Molten V5M5000-3N grip pattern, this ball would be perfect in my opinion.

Bought this ball thinking how can an Olympic ball not be great. It does feel great, but the players I play with find it hard and don't like to use it. I tried placing it in the clothes dryer (no heat) for a couple of hours to soften it (as I read on volleyball websites) but it still feels too hard. Maybe we are just a bunch of wimps!

I like this ball and the previous reviews are spot on. Change is hard though and the league I play in doesn't want to play with this ball.
