Great Shoes-Great Price
These are my first pair of clip-less shoes to go with my new Shimano DX clip-less pedals. I ordered the Shimano SM-SH56 cleats separately but the shoes did come with the SM-SH51 cleats. So far I love them and they arrived on time with no issues and as stated. I wear a 10.5 shoe and I have bit of a narrow foot and these fit me like a glove. I ordered size 45. I can walk around comfortably on these which is very important to me as I have to get off my MTB several times during the course of a ride. They do click or scrape on the concrete when walking so that is the only downside I see and I am not sure there is anyway to get around that. I only rated it a 4 star because I never rate anything five stars unless there was something that blew my mind.

Great replacement for old Shimano
This was a great choice because it allows you to walk. One of the problems with bike shoes (we all know) is that they are made for biking only...no brainier, but most people don't just bike around town they need to walk. My wife and I take our bikes on vacation and ride into towns ( Oaks Bluff, Vineyard Haven, Edgertown MA) stop walk shop so a shoe like this is important. Get a size up and stretch them a little you should be fine.

Excellent all-around bike shoes
These are a tight fit but then that's on me--I should have ordered the next size up. As it is, I find the fit just right for biking, as long as I don't use very thick socks. They are also comfortable w/o socks, so that's also very good.I have ridden both clipped-in and not and they are awesome. I have also walked in them and find that while they have a firm sole, they also offer just enough compliance when walking so they are not tiring to walk in. I will be ordering a different color and trying out the next size up, which should make them even better, for me, at least.BTW, I also purchased the ladies' version for my picky hard-to-please wife and she also loves them, so these are quality shoes!

Very sturdy shoes. Over 500 miles on them so far with no issues. A bit on the heavy side, but once I removed metal hardware (I don't clip in) they were much lighter. Great value.

great shoe
This is a nice shoe that looks like any normal shoe, so you can wear anywhere before/after your bike session. Comfortable and doesn't bother or make clicking noises when walking. I even drive to the track wearing them and do some grocery shopping after.Only advice is to get .5 a size bigger. They are just a tad smaller than I'd like, and I'm used to purchasing using the European sizing which means they really are a bit smaller then they are sized as everyone else reviewed here and it isn't due to buyers not knowing euro sizes.

Super Comfortable
I replaced my $350 microfiber Bont MTB shoes with these and I'm so glad I did. The Bonts are great for racing but these are way better all round MTB training shoes. If you have to get off the bike and hike there are no issues with these Giros. Lace them up good and you'll get very little heal lift so the power goes where it needs to go, the ground.

They fit well, ride well and walk well.
I'm no expert on biking shoes. These are my first pair of biking shoes. They fit my foot very well. I have a slightly narrow, low volume foot. I got 9.5 my normal street shoe size and the fit perfectly. The lacing system is great - I can wear them normal for regular riding and crank them down if I need every last bit of control.

Good pair of shoes
Does the job...Comfortable and easy to ride with.Only complaint would be that the cleats are quite far out from the bottom of the shoe so if you are walking on any surface but completely flat the cleat hits the ground.Excellent product!
