I judge the smell and taste by the fact my Beagle turns his nose up at these pills. Anyone who know anything about a Beagle will tell you, they'll eat almost anything. Apparently not these pills without wrapping some meat around them. Otherwise, they seem to be good.

My dog, Annie, is 15 years old. These chewable tablets work wonders! She was having difficulty going up and down 3 steps/stairs. She also had a wound in her left inner thigh from a recent grooming. It was red and inflamed. I purchased these for her joints/inflammation. I also purchased a spray for her wound (both items from Amazon). I have to wrap the 2 pills (she is 37 lbs) in deli meat. She will not take the pills otherwise. Within 24 hours of giving her the first 2 tablets she was going up and down steps easily. She had a pep in her step which I have not seen in years. Thankfully, these worked excellent. I will continue to purchase these in the future. These tablets worked wonders for Annie. Her wound is so much better and the redness/inflammation disappeared. UPDATE: As of 1/15/2025: Annie's wound has healed. She continues to have a pep in her step. She is NO longer struggling to go up and down steps. I do think the product is good. Was hoping my dog would eat them like a treat. He does not…. I have to break it up and disguise it and eventually he gets it in him:)

Excellent product recommended by my breeder. They wanted to do surgery on my GS leg. I rested him and started this product years ago. The dog can run and seems to be doing well. He swims in the summer and with this product seems to be comfortable. He will be 10 this month and is acting like a pup. I highly recommend this product.
