Some might balk about this product being made in India, but some generic prescription medications you might take may originate there. Geri-Care is based in Lakewood, New Jersey.The price is about the same as Walmart's Equate brand, and $3 more than Costco's Kirkland as I write this review. The product is a great generic alternative

Nothing works quite as fast as omeprazole for heartburn relief. Once you've experienced hours of heartburn, you'll be reaching for anything that can decrease the burning. This product not only work quickly, but last for hours due to the time released nature of the 20mg tablets. I'm a big fan and always try to keep this in the medicine cabinet and a few tabs in my travel bag just in case. Best to be prepared since heartburn can quickly ruin anyone's day.

I substituted this brand for my usual brand and can't tell the difference. It's still controlling my acid reflux. I just wish they'd be forthcoming in the product info about where it's made. I prefer to stick with health products that are made in the USA for safety reasons. That said, I didn't have any adverse effects and it still got the job done. Seems like a good value as well.
