My grandson was gifted one of these for Christmas and my granddaughter liked it so much. I ordered her one in pink. The music is very catchy and she loves to dance to it. I believe it’s supposed to be a game of some sorts, but I can never get it away from her long enough to figure out if the machine is supposed to do anything besides help them dance.!

First of all I would not describe this as a dance game. It is more a test of hand and eye coordination. The game is simple: after switching it on a series of lights and shapes flash and the player must press those shaped buttons in the order in which they flash. It sounds easy and at first it is, but as the game moves to higher levels it can be quite challenging. That is why I agree that the game is best suited to children at least 6 years of age. I got the game for our 4 1/2-year-old granddaughter, who is bright and clever, but she can't follow the game well. She may be ready in the next year.The game itself can withstand normal handling and should last if not dropped on a hard surface. It requires batteries but I've played the game for a total of over 3 hours and have not had to replace the batteries. I consider it good value for the money for someone old enough to enjoy it fully.

I had ordered this for Christmas as a stocking stuffer but when they decided to use it the buttons wouldn't light up at all I wish I could return they were so excited to play with it but very disappointed it was a promising concept

My grandchildren absolutely love this when they come to visit!! They enjoy playing it while I'm cooking dinner for them.
