One reviewer said this contains a toxic ingredient....can anyone confirm if this is true, or say what the ingredient is? Thanks!!

There are six ingredients, but they are classified as the following: water, emulsifiers and DMDM hydantoin. The emulsifiers are used for anti-foaming, anti-caking, emulsion stabilizer, silicon oils and to combine ingredients. The DMDM hydantoin is used as a preservative. All these ingredients can be found in everyday cosmetics and shampoos.

Would this help prevent mats in cottony Maltese puppy hair?

It works great for my little 3 pound Maltese with fine hair. It feels.so nice afterwards. After you dry the coat spray in some of the product and brush into the coat. Once finished, spray a little more and smooth down the coat with your hands. Then let the cute thing destroy all of that grooming by shaking it all out right in front of you. :) That light over spray will feel great for days.

Does this help repel snow from sticking to a dog's fur? We have a 60 lb fur-ball and live in the mid-west.

The ingredient list is horrible, and that's why you can't find it anywhere. PURIFIED WATER, EMULSION SIMETHICONE, EMULSION DIMETHICONE COPOLYOL, EMULSION CYCLOMETHICONE, EMULSIFIERS, DMDM HYDANTOIN. Most of the ingredients in this end in -cone, and anything ending in -cone is a derivative/type of silicone, which gives that silky feeling to hair and skin. It does so by COATING (which causes buildup), and ultimately dries out skin and hair, making the hair brittle. Gross. No, thanks.

I purchased this after using numerous other premium products for my fur baby with a little skepticism. However, this is an amazing product. I tried it first during the later days of my Akita blowing his winter coat. And I wanted something to make sure that I don’t have to vacuum my house multiple times during these blowing periods. I use just 4-5 sprays from about 30-40 cms from my dog before brushing his coat. And after I started using it I never found loose fur on my dog during the day. His coat now feels more soft and lustrous rather than dry after some of the other products that I have used. After his shedding, I use it once or twice in a week before brushing his coat and it gives a wonderful texture and finish to his coat. Absolutely love it and definitely recommend it to anyone who understands how problematic and irritating it is for the pet during the shedding and even for the pet parents. And for pet parents who want their babies to look like show ready after a simple brushing.

Chris Christensen Ice On Ice spray has worked really well for a difficult Pomeranian double coat. This spray has made his coat much easier to line brush and get down to the skin. His cottony undercoat mats easily so daily brushing is necessary to avoid painful mats. Since my daughter (his sitter) has been using this spray his Coat is softer and has improved. The fragrance is light and pleasant.
