Perfect for repairs to our very large tent, known as "the cathedral" lost a couple of poles last summer! But these are great one or two were cut to fit but that's not a problem, a good price too our tent lives another summer

These are perfect poles for replacing my existing ones, at 12.7mm diameter they are sturdy and strong but still light and flexible. Easy to cut and put together with the enclosed elastic and threading wire.

Don’t - just don’t as I did leave it until you arrive on site to repair your poles. It will be raining and make a simple job … frustrating.This kit is good - check before you buy the poles are the correct diameter or you’ll end up filing them round with a leatherman to a smaller diameter in the rain with the kids watching from the warmth of the car asking if it’s done yet.The wire they send to use as a needle is chocolate teapot quality - it’s the only thing that lets down an otherwise excellent kit please please please for the love of camping supply a stiffer bit of wire for the threading. No one needs a limp tool it’s always gonna be disappointing.Some tents have poles that vary in diameter from ends to centre to allow varying degrees of bendiness. So measure before and buy multiple diameters if you need to. You don’t want to find this out whilst it’s raining and your the one fixing the tent.

2 x 12.7mm sets ordered to replace broken ones from a Coleman Cabral 6 that is still under warranty and has a pole spit each time it is used, very poor design but Coleman don't want to know, (last Coleman product I buy!) They will need shortening which is easy with care, but at this price I might just by another two sets to keep me in poles for a while. They work out at about 1.80 a section,,,,,, "Bargain"

Using these as an extension pole for my Oculus rift sensor stands. I have a room scale setup with 4 sensors and really need them to be floor standing. But Oculus don't do floor standing ones to my knowledge. So I use these poles as an extension to make a stand taller.1. Unscrew the base from the sensor.2. Cable tie the pole to the base.3. Insert the sensor into the hollow end of the pole and cable tie the cable.The end result is floor standing sensors at the perfect height. Happy VR-ing. If I had to do this again I'd pick a slimmer version with the same section length. Also I find my 1kg disc barbells extremely useful to weigh the base down as taller stand is more liable to fall over.

All looking good - delivery did feel a bit lighter than I was expecting but happy to see what was there - 9 poles - 8 with a metal ferrule at one end, 1 elastic cord with a wire puller and two ends - I still have the job of cutting what I have to size which will leave me with some spare poles - comes from buying a 2nd hand tent with the original poles having been lostVery well packaged
