As Good as the Manufacturer's Own
Fits and works perfectly, for a much lower cost. As we say, what's not to like?

Not correct size
Good quality but the size is not as should be its to small and not hołd well in the tripod

Weaker leverage tightening clip
The plate fitted perfectly but the main pin is fairly flimsy and more like a tough wire making it more difficult to gain leverage to tighten. Obviously this is a cheaper made version than the original so you get what you pay for. Time will tell if it will last but fingers crossed!!!

Better than the Manfrotto original
Much better quality than the original plate that came with my Manfrotto 055 which I now think this a dodgy plate not made by Manfrotto but made elsewhere on the other side of the world. The Protastic plate is simply far better quality all round.

Fits Manfrotto quick release plate as well as manufacturers own.
Although the quick release plate fits well, the wire loop for tightening the plate onto the camera seems flimsy.

Just the job

Not so reliable
Metal surface is slippery and the locking feel loose. Cant risk my camera. Returned and bought the original manfrotto.

Good value
This item arrived in good time. I would have to say its not as robust as Manfrotto's own make. It is, however, a lot cheaper and if, like me, you want one for a small lightweight camera (Nikon D5300) it will do the job.
