EXERZ 20cm Antique Globe Ocean Blue with a Wooden Base, Handcraft Decorative Globe (20cm)

Brought as a christmas present. Arrived on time and looks good.

I ordered this Globe which is currently priced at £9.99, and while it’s a beautiful decorative piece, it’s more style than substance. The globe has a charming vintage look with its ocean blue colouring and wooden base, making it a lovely addition to a bookshelf or desk. From a distance, it’s quite eye-catching, and the materials feel sturdy, with the wood and metal giving it a nice finish. However, as an actual globe, it’s not very functional. The text is quite small and a bit messy, making it hard to read. For example, the UK is blue and blends into the blue of the ocean, so it’s difficult to make out. If you’re looking for something to use for geographical reference or study, this might not be ideal. It’s more of a decorative item than a practical one, which is fine if that’s what you’re after. Overall, it’s a cute and compact globe that adds a touch of elegance to a room, but don’t expect it to be particularly useful for learning or reading details. Well, it's a globe at least, but the base is very rough, and the turning motion grates and isn't smooth at all. The print quality isn't great and it's hard to read the text. Now I know this is relatively cheap, and it obviously wasn't designed as a reference globe, but it really is disappointing. And as another reviewer has said, it had a distinctly unpleasant and swampy smell to it when it arrived.

This globe stunk upon arrival. The way it was packaged by the seller with their choice of cardboard has meant the entire item smells vaguely of ****. Fill in the gaps. Apart from this unfortunate points deduction, the item is good. Printing quality is decent, it has a nice reflective shine to it and seems built to last. Decent product.

This globe from the EXERZ Store comes boxed and assembled. Removing the globe and stand from the box I immediately thought I had been sent the wrong globe as it had much darker blue sea than pictured although it appears it is correct. The globe itself is well detailed although being a 13cm sized globe some of the text for the countries is very difficult to read being so small although the whole of the map does look good. Construction of the stand is where the quality falls off a bit with the globe being very loose attached to the metal half circle and the base feeling cheap and rough. Overall this globe does look good as a centre piece on a sideboard with it being very shiny and detailed and would make a nice gift for someone especially when it is reasonably priced.

Delivered in a plain cardboard box Inside sat this absolutely stunning 13cm globe , it's base is made from wood , the globe itself is metal and spins on its metal axis the highly polished atlas is stunning , it is easy to read the country names . This could be used as a teaching device for children but it's look adds some good taste to home decor. Priced under £10 this is an absolute bargain !

Pretty nice globe that looks nice a small bit of decoration on your desk, or as something fun for the kids to explore - my 6yo certainly loves it as he's very fond of geography! The base is a hand painted wood that looks slightly weathered, with a non slip felt pad underneath. The handle is made of a nice weathered look metal that holds the globe pretty securely. The globe itself is glossy plastic material, with the map printed nicely on it - looks nice and clear with no pixelation. There are some random defects when looking at the globe - some small bumps and what looks like pinholes though they are only visible when you hold it up to a light. My 6yo loves it, so I'd happily recommend it!
