Great Product -- Works as Described and A Good Value
This is an excellent product. It works as described and has been a Godsend. This unit is water resistant and is great for lifting in and out of the bathtub. I had one question and wrote an email to product support. I received an answer and explanation in under 10 minutes. BTW, the question was about the lights on the charger and remote when charging. The remote and charger glow red when in the charging mode. When fully charged the remote light switches from red to green. The charging "wall wart" is green on standby and turns red when the remote is plugged in. FYI because this is not explained in the manual.

Great product
This item can be a lifesaver for a disabled individual who takes a fall and unable to get up by themselves. I was wary spending this amount for something I wasn’t familiar with. I am in my 70s and have MS. Unfortunately I’ve experienced many falls over the years. Originally I was able to get up. As the years went by I have relied on my very strong hubby - also in his 70s. It is getting harder & harder for him. We can foresee it being impossible soon. Our only alternative would be to find someone to assist or call 911. The chair was very easy to assemble, arrived well packaged & on time. Two days later the chair proved it’s cost & weight in GOLD. I had another darn fall - no injuries but I couldn’t get up. Hubby brought out the new chair. I wished I would have practiced because me scooting & getting seated was not a pretty picture I’m sure but I did it! The chair performed PERFECTLY lifting me to access my rollator! No backache for hubby & I was so relieved I almost cried. To say we highly recommend this lift chair is an understatement! One caveat- the weight of the chair is not amenable for someone as small as me. I would have a hard time moving it into position. We do have large home so leaving it out beside the bed works. I would be able to scoot there to use it. I am rarely alone so that possibility is unlikely. A larger or slightly stronger person wouldn’t have that problem. The chair folds up nicely & could be kept in a central accessible place. If this chair fits your needs do not hesitate to- buy it and thank me later! For now my deep appreciation goes out to the seller! I thank you. I’m sure the MS Association will pass this information along too!

Chair Lift
I received the product in good condition. I do not know what the description means when it says "with wheels" because there are no wheels. Unit works well and will lift me, 230 lbs. I gave it 4 stars because the pads for the chair seat flaps did not come with the pads, but that does not hinder the use.

Pretty good except for the silly wheels
In order to be able to use it to get off of the floor, the person must be able to scoot sideways up the little ramp onto the seat, perhaps with a little assistance. Once seated it works very well. It is slow, but that is necessary for a lightweight motor to lift a heavy weight. I also use it when I need to work on something down low. Previously I could not do this, because I could neither bend over that far, nor rise from a squatting position. I ordered this model because it is equipped with wheels. They proved to be useless. The handle at the top does not extend like on a rolling suitcase, so you must bend way over for the wheels to touch the floor. The stabilizer feet then touch the floor at the same time as the wheels, so you end up dragging it anyway. Fortunately it is fairly light at 25 lb, and compact, so it is not that difficult to carry.

An Indispensable Aid
I bought this because my wife has Parkinson's Disease and is overweight. Often her legs give up, and she falls to the floor. And, at 81, I am no longer strong enough to help he back on her feet. This chair lift has been an indispensable aid to get her back up to her walker, armchair or bed. It handles her 83kgs with easy, is sturdy and stable. I highly recommend it for anyone in a similar position.

Not too sturdy.
Works - but you need to be careful you don't tip! Quite heavy.
