I have used it on satin but not on silk yet. I looked up what google says on the web and it recommends a gentle detergent on a gentle cycle on your washing machine. If you want to take googles advice yes it is safe to use.

Q: 140 floz product pic shows 140 loads and 144.5 floz product pic shows 107 loads. The 140 floz product spec wt is 11.5lbs = 184 oz. Why?

"Loads" are meaningless, look to fl oz. They shrank the bottle (my old one was 210oz, this is 140oz), but change the cap marking for a "medium" load. The July 2023 bottle says the 8mm line (Line C) is one load. Shrinkflation at its finest.

Q: What does it smell like? artificial perfumes? will the smell wash out if i rinse twice?aren't all artificial fragrances irritating to sensitive folks?
