Close to original my lens came with
My original lens shield is at the bottom of Prince Williams Sound and I had bought a replacement that was such total crap and had to return it (you had to screw it into the lens - or the filter attached to it - and could not attache the lens cap while it was on).This aftermarket replacement, however, is designed to be attached the same way as the original and it works just as well. It's only been a couple weeks, but I am very pleased with the item.

I had a hard time deciding to get this or the Sony one. I'm glad I went with this one and saved money. It's just as good as the original. I definitely recommend!
