Does not work on a 2017 Yamaha F200XB. After doing some very in-depth research on the net, it appears the XB models in any year have some different type of compatibility issue that can only be recognized by the dealer versions. The only thing I was able to retrieve was the engine hours by RPM but the total engine hours was incorrect and could not get any active monitoring data at all. Hopefully this helps someone else not have to waste their time doing all the research like I had to do.

What a great diagnostic tool...

Easy to set up and use. Can’t see owning a Yamaha engine and not own one of these. Let’s you see the engine hours to predict preventative maintenance.

Says works with yamaha boats up to 2017. Did not work with my 2013 Yamaha 212x. The software is just the standard YDS 1.33 that is available with much cheaper readers as well and this thing made me use a memory stick and create an account yada yada just to install what I already had.
