Wow…
This thing is amazing. I use it for connecting my viture pro ar glasses to my iPhone and Retroid Pocket 4 Pro. I had a bundle of dongles, cables, and converters doing what this thing does in a fraction of the size. Now only if they’d make one that substitutes the micro sd for an additional usb-c data port (many of these retro gaming consoles only have a single usb-c) they could capitalize on all the people wanting to connect usb headphones, keyboards, or other peripherals that there is currently no solution for.

works great as a USB-C hub
Somewhat decent hub. It gets the job done but they're limitations for devices that require too much power.

Cannot recharge phone through this adapter
It looks nice, seems solid, but you cannot recharge your phone through this device. There is a 100 watt USB c port labelled as such, but the power doesn’t pass through to the phone which is what I thought was the whole point of the thing, and to supply power to other connected device like the other USB port and memory slot.I can not recommend this after discovering this design flaw.

Compact and complete mobile dock for steamdeck/iphone and xreal AR glasses.
Fantastic product! Works great with steamdeck and iphone 15 pro max. Took this with me on a 2 week vacation including a 7 day cruise. Loaded up a 2TB microsd with tv shows and movies and it worked perfectly the whole trip. Paired with some Xreal AR glasses and you have yourself a complete multi-media/gaming heaven to use in almost any and all conditions! I love how compact it is and combines power/usb-C video out and storage all in one device instead of having to connect a large dock. Highly recommended! Would be nice if it had a 3.5mm audio jack but not if it would add too much bulk. Otherwise I would say this is the perfect portable "dock" for my use case.

Love this for my iPhone.
Let’s me charge and have storage at the same time. Great for videography.

Cannot charge phone using this hub
This mobile hub checks so many boxes and has a great form factor. But this is a glaring design flaw.It does not charge your phone. Or more precisely, it does not charge your phone with a phone charger. There is a 100W PD port, and it is labeled as 100W max. However, there appears to be a minimum W input that isn't documented anywhere.I cannot charge my iPhone or iPad via this hub using my regular iPhone or iPad charger. However, if I use a 60W charger I normally use to charge my MacBook Pro, I can actually charge my iPhone / iPad via this hub. Of course, who would use a 60W charger for iPhone / iPad?Maybe it is a simple fix, but until then, I would not recommend it for its intended usage as a mobile hub.

Handy as a portable hub
(Satechi Mobile XR Hub, USB C Adapter with 100W Pass-Through Charging, 10Gbps Data Transfer, Video Output for XR/AR Glasses, 4K Resolution, MicroSD Card Reader, USB C Hub for XR Glasses / $45 at the time of the review)Using this mainly as a portable hub for my iPad Pro and iPhone. It works just like a normal corded hub. But the cordless form factor makes it easier to use with ultraportable devices like tablets. The MicroSD slot reads cards without issue. Data transfer is slow but not horrible. This form factor of this hub offers convenience over speed. Granted, for its actual intended purpose, you wouldn’t need fast transfer speeds. It’s a quality piece of hardware. The see-thru design allowed them to label the port slots with larger icons. Haven’t tried it with an external display or XR glasses yet so, I’ll update if there are any issues when I do. Don’t foresee any though. It’s compact so, it’s easy to travel with. Even more so since it doesn’t have a cord. The power delivery port is a nice addition. If you’re using it with glasses, that feature will be heavily used. For my use case (as a portable hub), it’s not as relevant. Overall, a good adapter if it fits your use case.
