It's lube.

Works great. Very lubricating. Very smooth. Yes it’s water based. Don’t contaminate it though. That large opening is easy to get dirt in. Just squeeze it out and put it aside. Don’t let the cap touch any toys, body parts or fluids unless you want to compromise its sterility

Water based, and works well

This is a good enough lube, and does the job well enough. Getting the seal off the tube can be difficult. I've found there is air in the tube with the lube. I paid for 4.25 ounces of lube, not lube mixed with air. Squeezing the lube out can become challenging if the tube gets slippery. The lube has a slight not unpleasant chemical smell, and dries without leaving much of a residue. It also isn't irritating for me. This lube also stays wet for quite a while without drying out.

Lube is very luby

Liked the Sterile Bacteriostatic and the thinness of the lube for catheters.-Disliked the fact that most of the pictures shown for Surgilube are inaccurate and or misleading in regards to 'ounces in the tube' and in at least one case also the quantity of tubes being offered. This is 4.25 ounces. I think the printing on the picture showed 2 ounces.- Disliked the fact that they don't offer the 2 Ounce version of this product.
