Rubbish, not large, doesn't pour. AVOID!
Bought the 500ml capacity jug, thinking it would hold 500ml of gravy, and actually be a LARGE gravy. Oh no!! 500ml of liquid means it's full to within a millimetre of the top lip, so it can't hold 500ml of gravy. In my photo I poured 500ml of coloured water in & it comes right to the top. 2nd photo is with 350ml of coloured water. It comfortably holds 350ml of liquid, leaving about 7-8mm before the top rim, as you would when making a cup of coffee. A 350ml gravy boat is not LARGE (as advertised)!!! More disappointing is that it doesn't pour properly and a trickle of liquid runs down the outside from the spout every time it's used - so basically absolutely not fit for purpose , extremely disappointing and useless. It may be porcelain and a nice white colour, but it's heavy and clunky like catering crockery and the saucer doesn't fit the gravy boat exactly. Not fit for purpose. Wish I'd ignored all the five star reviews and paid heed to the 1 star reviews. It's already in the bin as I don't have space for unusable stuff in the kitchen cupboard!

What a beautiful gravy boat with saucer! I needed to purchase a new one for Thanksgiving and I am so happy I purchased this one! It is extremely well made. The porcelain is thick and sturdy. The lines of the gravy boat are elegant and classic. The size of the gravy bowl is perfect for a family gathering.
