A1 Combo

This 3D printer is amazing! The directions were a little challenging to follow, as I didn’t understand the lingo, but we were able to get it put together pretty quickly. The APP that you use along with it is super easy to navigate and the prints are great. There are so many choices of things to create! It was very easy to connect to WIFI and get going. It is not noisy and doesn’t require a large area for set up. We set ours on a nightstand and it’s the perfect size. Definitely worth the money as it is easy to use and works amazing!

Great 3D printer for someone starting out or just a hobbyist. Easy to use and quiet. My wife set it up herself and used it first. I bought this for my wife for Christmas and we've printed gifts for people, containers for fruits and vegetables, and light switches. I've also printed shelves and holders for the network gear and hubs on the office desk. It's compatible with many filament types - you can even print your own shoes similar Crocs. Recommend any first timer for any 3D printer watch a few videos about protecting filament from moisture in the air and you'll have great success with print jobs. I've found the Bambu filaments the most reliable and easiest to use - especially since their spools are tagged so the printer automatically knows what kind and color filament is on the roll. The AMS lets you keep four different spools loaded which is great for multi-color prints

The Bambu Lab A1 has been a workhorse in my setup. After putting significant time into various projects, from functional prints to detailed models, I have a clear picture of where this machine stands for both hobbyists and power users. Performance and Reliability The print quality remains consistent even after extensive use. The setup is straightforward, and the active flow rate compensation ensures that layers stay smooth without constant manual calibration. It handles intricate geometries with ease, which is a testament to its motion control system. Long-Term Durability With over 1500 hours printing on it, I am still really liking it. The machine has held up remarkably well under heavy workloads. While I have encountered minor material compatibility warnings in the past, the hardware itself is resilient and continues to deliver reliable results day after day. Future Outlook While the A1 is an incredible entry and mid-level machine, there are limitations when it comes to high-temperature materials or specific enclosure-dependent prints. Because of this, I am looking at upgrading to the H2C at some point in the future to expand my capabilities. Final Verdict If you want a printer that just works, the A1 is a top contender. It is a reliable tool for anyone looking to get serious about 3D printing without the constant headache of troubleshooting hardware failures.

Part of me really regrets not investing in 3D printing years ago, but a bigger part of me is glad to have waited until the technology matured a little. At any rate, I'm very very happy to have bought this. It's just cool, it's a geek-out factor I don't get to experience very often. The number of free files I can print is insane, I wish I had a dozen of these things all churning out useful (or just fun) things 24/7. It's extremely easy to set up; it syncs with your phone, and the app has a huge catalog of user-created stuff you can use for free. It's very much consumer-grade, no tech knowledge required. I love it, I'll probably buy more. The only problem (if you can even call it that) is occasional feed issues; you get a push notification on your phone, you have to go up and re-feed the PLA spool. It takes 10 seconds and I've only seen it twice. I doubt that's a problem with the product, probably something any printer faces, and it's an instant fix. Buy one, nerd.

I think this is a powerful starter printer. It can do a lot and so far seems like a good investment. I wanted to learn about this as well as introduce it to my grade-school children to keep them in the know. I'm glad I bought the A1 over the A1 mini. I have printed a few items that wouldn't have fit on the mini. Granted most jobs would fit on the mini - but I splurged and the larger A1 and think its been worth it. Lots of people received fidgets for Christmas this year!! The AMS Lite is useful. Although bulky. I might look into other plans to see if I can build a shelf and mount it above the printer. Because it sits beside the printer it uses a lot of width on the table. So far it's worked 100%, easy to use, and turns out high quality prints. The touch screen is useful and makes it easy to monitor where in the print process an object is. Although a few messages have been tricky to understand - however it puts up a QR code to scan on your phone to get more info. So the detail on the screen is overly simple they try to redirect you to a webpage for more. Set up was easy. Wifi worked on a mesh network - none of that stupid "only 2.4Ghz" stuff you see from many other IoT devices. Nope - it just worked. You can monitor the print from the built in webcam - although I find it useless due to the low angle. But it is nice to know if its making spaghetti or not.

This is a great 3D printer for beginners or even for advanced makers who expect to print in PLA, PETG, or possibly even TPU. To print engineering-grade materials such as ABS or ASA, get a printer with an enclosure. I have bought many Bambu Lab printers, and I can confidently say that they just work--they are like the "Apple of 3D printing" in that the printer (hardware), slicer (software), and model repository (content) are all seamlessly integrated. Of course, I've done knucklehead things like getting failed prints due to not cleaning my build plate, but barring user errors, these printers work great and are fast. I've also had some hardware issues with my Bambu Lab printers in the past, and I must say that their customer support team is terrific. Recently I had an issue with my A1, and even though my A1 printer was past the 1-year warranty in the US, they helped me diagnose the problem and even sent me a replacement power switch assembly free of charge, and after installing it, my printer was up and running again. This exceeded my expectations.

This is a awesome product, was easy to set up and get working. And did my first 3d print with not problems

First filament printer I've ever bought. It's hard to put into words how much I love this thing. Only took me less than a week to dial in really good settings for sunlu meta PLA and now I'm cranking out terrain. And even if you don't feel like tweaking settings, you can print right out of the box with this thing. I've been watching and waiting trying to decide which machine to get and I'm glad I was patient enough to realize that this is the best in this price category. (Pic included printed at .12 Fine setting in the bambu studio slicer with some temperature adjustments for the specific pla I was using) *Update* After putting about 10 or 11 kg the filament through the machine, it's still generally printing well but I have noticed some major flaws in the design. The nozzles are kind of cheap. But that's not the biggest issue the biggest issue is the hot end assembly. No matter what you do, after a certain amount of use you have to take the hot end off and tighten up three screws that will naturally come loose on their own. Pretty bad design overall but I know that it's designed this way to make replacing the part easier and more affordable, but at the same time I wouldn't have to replace the part if they made a better design! This brings my review down to four stars instead of five. Sorry bambu, do better next time.
