Jacquard Silk Painting Kit with Gutta Resist

I love these dyes. I paint on silk and the color continually comes out bright and sets well with appropriate follow up measures. What I like, is the fact that if you make a mistake and due a spot, you can add water, thoroughly work the small are and dab on both sides with paper towel. The color comes up and doesn't perma dye the spot. - dye set and ironing will set the colors strong. The bottles are small but the colors are dark, you can achieve a plethora of shades by mixing and adding water. You can thin them out nicely and your dye goes a long way. I have bought several of these bottles already.

There is nothing to dislike about this product! The shipping however was a bit slower than expected but I'm used to Amazon's two day shipments so a week and a half seems long.

This is a great little kit to get started with. However the bottle of resist is way to small.

Bought these for a sixth grade art project. My 11-year-old had no trouble using the kit on his own and the silk scarf he painted turned out beautifully.

I like this kit, have the basic colors to mix and are good for beginner painters. The blue is the hard one to blend and create smooth transitions

This kit has everything you need but the silk to paint on. The bottle for dispensing the gutta was better than the separate ones we bought for that purpose. The kit has ink, brush, gutta, applicator bottle with metal tip and fabric set to lock in color. The bottles of ink/dye were not tiny, but full size bottles.Just add talent and imagination.

These are beautiful inks. Excellent customer service!! My first set leaked and the company quickly replaced them. So thankful for reputable companies like this. Highly recommend.

The dyes are beautiful, vibrant, and stay place surprisingly well with use of the included fixative. The brush was not good (use your own, which is easy enough) and we were very disappointed to see that the gutta was totally dried up and disgusting when we opened the bottle. It had not leaked out, just dried up, and all that remained of it was some hard rubbery residue on the side of the bottle. Fortunately you do not need gutta to paint beautiful scarfs! These dyes are enough for MANY scarfs. We have made 8 (56" x 8 ") and used about 1/4 of each bottle. I would buy these again because the price is worth it, even for just the dyes.
