As an American who loves things that go Bang, I just had to buy this cannon for a toy. I hated the look of the 16 nuts on the axels, 4 on each wheel, front and back. I ran different scenarios through my head while waiting for my delivery. Minutes after the delivery, I took the cannon to my workbench and removed the wheel on one side and began the process. A steel deep socket was cut into 4 axel covers and installed on all four axels. I Love this improved look. I tested my toy with some small Black Cat firecrackers that I still had and everything worked out fine but the small size didn’t really make the recoil work as I had hoped. It was still a BLAST! I’ll have to buy larger crackers when the fireworks booths return. This size cannon has a nice weight and it’s appearance now pleases me.

This is a great heavyweight. Fine quality product. If you have the right things to shoot it with, I didn’t order anything to put in it so I made my own. It was fun until I used too much and it messed it up.

Takes just a little time to reload and is fun to watch go off.

solidly made, pretty well machined, fittings adequately tight. would have given a "5" but the use of many nuts to create the axle cap was odd and cheap dont forget this is a 60.00++ toy, not cheap Construction more than durable to handle Black Cat strength firecrackers. IF Stronger crackers ( read: longer") are used, the recoil spring will probably lose effectiveness
