I always carry 2 different knives on me. I always have a larger folding knife and then I always have a smaller fixed blade knife. I'm always doing things or fixing things that require cutting or prying and sometimes grabbing the larger folding knife just isn't needed. So instead, I have a smaller fixed blade for quick jobs that only need a single hand to complete. This is my new fixed blade carry. It comes with a hard plastic sheath. The sheath has a tiny little light that you can turn on if you need but honestly, it puts out such little light that it's basically useless. I'll never use it.It comes with a little cheap string of beads to wear around your neck but the sheath does have 4 holes to secure it in different ways if need be. I won't be hanging it around my neck so I'll be fastening it to my belt. I'll have to figure out some way to do that so it would be nice if it came with an easier way to do so.The blade itself is adequate for the price point. Its not an amazing blade forged by a Japanese swordsmith. It's a sub $20 knife that comes sharp and it has held up with the several days of moderate use. I think this is a neat little work horse that is an inexpensive alternative to more expensive knives.

This really is a great pocketable knife, and its skeletonized weight and ergonomically small design make this fixed blade a pleasure to carry. Easily disappearing into your front pocket, it is a convenient tool-at-hand, ready to open packages, break down boxes or even perform delicate crafting cuts.Pros:- Small size and weight is a real blessing. You won’t even know you are carrying it.- Blade comes razor sharp from the factory and has shown to have decent edge retention. After processing a closet full of amazon boxes the knife was still sharp and able to trim out photos for our holiday scrap book.- Skeletonized design would allow you to customize the handle with paracord.- Sheath has a built in LED light.- Most effective using a “pinch” grip due to the small size of the overall knife.Cons:- The sheath, while functional, is somewhat rigid and tight.- The thin nature and ambidextrous design of the sheath makes it difficult to determine which way the blade is supposed to be inserted.Overall this is a well crafted and inexpensive neck knife or front-pocket EDC fixed blade. This would make an excellent stocking stuffer! One star removed because of the sheath.
