Solid, lightweight and easy to use luggage scale. Replacing a duronic one with which the accuracy was compared and found it accurate. Takes two AAA batteries as compared to other luggage scales which usually take CR2032 battery which is a +ve in my opinion as I can use rechargeable batteries. Don't see the point of built-in torch though.

Very well made. All metal stainless clip is easy and secure, no chance of suddenly 'un-clip' from heavy suitcase. Reliable and accurate Salter brand. Very clear, easy to read display. Quick too, no 'waiting' for measure to complete. Torch feature actually turns out to be quite useful as well.

This was accurate which is so important with luggage limits and took the worry out of an over weight case. Was easy to use and the digital display was easy to read and understand. Nice and compact so can be packed in the case for the return journey. Looked really good quality the feel of the handle was nice and comfortable to use. Great value for money. Would recommend.

I bought this scale recently for a trip based on cost and reviews (I paid about £9 when there was a 20% off sale). It ended up weighing 300g more than at the airport, which was fine since it overstated the weight. I'm fairly happy with this product and would recommend it. Pros: Light weight, the handle (it makes the weighing process easier), fairly accurate. Cons: I accidentally changed the units from kgs to pounds a few times by pressing the button too many times (you are suppose to press the button once to reset it to 0 and i pressed it 2-3 times and it changed the units). Wish the screen was backlit, as we ended up using a torch to see the weight when we were weighing our luggage in a poorly lit room.

For years I always checked our luggage before travelling by getting on the scales and picking up the suitcase, kind of worked but often couldn't see the number of awkward holding it steady. This device solved that! It just straps onto the handle and you pick it up, takes a couple of seconds to steady then gives you a reading, super simple. We took three cases on holiday this summer and filled one bag right to the 10kg limit, was a bit nervous going to the airport to see if it was accurate, need not have worried as it was exactly accurate. Took it on holiday with us to make sure weight was ok on return after buying bits as it was very light and sturdy enough to be packed. Fantastic bit of kit!

Rubbish! Totally not calibrated, same suitcase registers at .5kg and 27kg! Do not buy

My husband has given thuds quick try and it is giving good accurate and clear weights. He did say that it was easy to use and it's quite small so very easy to pop in the case when flying so as not to go overweight. Priced at £7.99 at time of review I am happy to recommend.
