Our species has used herbs and spices in cooking, and as medicinals, for millenia, not just to enhance the taste of our food, but for conscious medicinal use, whether prophylactically or for symptom relief, and they are detailed in Ayurvedic, Western and Eastern herbals.Twentyfirst century Western medicine is catching up, analysing the supposed bioactive components.I do prefer to take whole herb supplements, also rather than purely the supposed effective compound.I'm a little unsure of the reason for this kind of packaging, as I'm not entirely sure this is universally recyclable. I tend to decant into previous supplement bottles, as screw top lids, over time, are easier closures than these type of packages

It is good for me

I haven’t noticed much of a difference personally, but that may vary for others. I originally wrote a more detailed review, but it wasn’t approved, so I’m keeping this one brief.That said, they may work differently for different people, so they could still be worth trying if you think they might help.

I have been taking Turmeric supplements for a few months and thought I would try these - they have proved to be really good quality and provide the same pain relief as the existing ones I have. Taking Turmeric in this form is really easy and has no aftertaste or smell which can be found in some of the different supplement types. These also contain Black pepper which is shown to support the effectiveness of the turmeric, so are really good value for money.

Good quality Curcumin capsules - supplying a good quantity of supplement and good capsules which don't repeat on you like some. Now part of my regular daily supplement intake.

These turmeric and black pepper capsules are easy to swallow and don’t leave an aftertaste in your mouth. The capsules do have a slight initial turmeric powder taste, but this disappears very quickly and is not as obvious as some other brands. The packaging is a great design and takes up less room in the cupboard than the alternative round plastic bottles. I am pleased with this product and it is good value for money as the pack contains 90 capsules..
